I am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Great writing and the translation from the movie is not so bad. The casting job stopped me at S1E5!!! Why the hell bring two comedians from a major TV show (Jennifer Carpenter/Desmond Harrington) to play about the same character, with about the same type of interaction!! In this way, why don't bring Michael C. Hall in FBI's blood sparter expert and call im « Rex»? You know, some country's movie industry have a short list of comedians who can handle some specific character but I'm guessing the biggest of the world could do better!

It was so sad to hear that the series was canceled. The storyline was very well written.

Honestly, I feel like this show is fueled by THC. The producers should really look into professionals on matters regarding to government and, oh yeah... logic. Seriously, I saw holes in their logic when I was sober. Still a good story base.

The thing I enjoyed the most was the great portrayal of the impact the drug has on you. All these little things come together magnificently. Every sense gets its own way of impact. Especially I liked the part when Brian tried to focus on something. The way he does it left me jaw-dropping the first time i saw it.The conspiracy about the mysterious man, Eddie Morra, who met in the prequel makes it even more nerve-wracking. They managed to merge the movie and the series, which, in my opinion, you can't take for granted. The only thing that made me put a nine instead of a ten is that the story drifts off at some parts. Favourite acting performance: Ron Rifkin as Brians dad. Even though he receives a lot of hate from fans of the series, i think he does an outstanding job. Even Jennifer Carpenter, who I hated in Dexter, surprised me in a good way.
