Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

Much as I detest Mrs Thatcher (Prime Minister of Britain 1979-90, for the young and the foreign), her maxim applies here. It was obvious throughout this series, of which I saw all but the first and last episodes, that money had been poured into it. There was lots of location work, the sets were big and elaborate, the costumes were beautiful, there was a large cast, people had been trained to fight, there were lots of special effects, and so on. The trouble was, though, that the ideas weren't there beneath it all. The characters were dull (a magician who can't actually use magic is a completely pointless idea) and the story didn't make much sense to me. It was fun to watch Matt Lucas having the time of his life overacting the villain, but I lost patience with the story as a whole and that is why I never watched part 6. As others have said, India de Beaufort is gloriously beautiful, but that isn't enough to keep my interest.

Krod Mandoon started out as an interesting premise, mainly a fantasy sword and sorcery sitcom. However it just becomes a platform for more anti-male/pro-female bullcrap that is considered "humor" in our society. In between scenes of fantasy style questing, scenes of medieval castles/towns and characters like warriors and wizards, are the messages that "women are awesome and sexy" and "men are idiots and buffoons" while pointing out that female sexuality is awesome and sexy and male sexuality is disgusting and ugly.I would have rated the show higher, but could not stand the misandric garbage. I had enough by the 4th episode.Next!

I didn't expect the show to be entertaining, I expected a another serious show like The Legend of the Seeker that was nothing like the book. Surprisingly, it was pretty funny. It's not the more smart kind of funny show, but more like Austin Powers, Robin Hood Men in Tights, and other silly movies like that. The real difference here is that the story gets a little wacky and really has a lot of surprises.I like how the characters are pretty unique. The main hero is probably the smartest one who isn't very good with running his crew and he's having girl problems because his girl is sleeping with everyone. The wizard is black and really doesn't have any magic. He just lies about it. And another guy (who looks like a brute) is pretty much a wuss and sucks at shooting a crossbow (which he shoots a lot....and hits the hero). The main bad guy is pretty funny too. He's similar to Dr. Evil from Austin Powers, only with an accent and he really seems to have power over his legion.I have heard some bad comments on this show after I watched the pilot and I was wondering how they can say those things with we see repeated movies like Epic Movie, Date Movie, and other stupid crap go to the movie theaters every few months. Krod Mandoon is funnier only because their jokes are a little more thought out and they aren't totally wacky. Like a man being able to spin so much that he plows through the floor, that would be Dance Flick, but not Krod Mandoon. My favorite thing about the show is it really reminds me of The Legend of the Seeker. The acting isn't top notched, but when it's supposed to be some small silly show, that's all you need. I think people are expecting this to be a Michael Bay show or something. Anyways, I enjoyed it.

It is an interesting series with a lighthearted take on medieval action adventures. There are interesting characters and funny jokes, but it isn't as well done as it could be. The story is a rehash of your basic peasant knight saves the kingdom type deal, and the actors don't give it 100%. The characters aren't very original, except for Anika, but she is far from a saving grace. I would liken it to Eragon with sex jokes and slightly better writing. I am sad that this series wasn't given more thought as it seems it could have been like the BBC series Robin Hood. Hopefully the writers pull it together and Comedy centrals audience doesn't give up on it very easily.
