Best movie of this year hands down!

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

Near perfect short series. Some very good actors, an intriguing story and keeps you guessing with the ending. Of course they follow some Hollywood stereotypes etc, but the actors are what really make the series.Jack O'Connell is brilliant. Jeff Daniels is perfection. Plus Dockery, McNairy, Wever & Brodie-Sangster who were all great.The scenery and filming really draw you into this series and it does a great job of transporting you back in time while you watch.The episodes are long, but easily watchable and great to binge!

The good stuff: Strong cast, the acting, cinematography, costume design, soundtrack, original story.The bad stuff: Politically correct and historically absurd (women are superior to men, exhibitionism and gay relations are commonly accepted, African-Americans are well respected and treated as equals), lacks context, incoherent story line, the main protagonist is invincible, cliché-ish for the most part, non-lethal bullet wounds, shallow and illogical characters, predictable script.

Must see TV. Loved it. Binged the first and only season in one day.

So, if it were not for the final episode. I would of given this a 10. Hands down.I've missed good western movies and shows. I just do not think 2018 politics / worldviews is a way to represent the wild west. I honestly just think it's bad. But, I forgave the show in the first episodes just because of how honestly good it was!Then the final episode comes, and it starts out great! And then... well. I had to really try to like it. When I find myself in a situation where I have to convince myself of: This is a movie, this makes sense because this and that.The immersion is broken and yeah. It's automatically not a 10 anymore. If you cant stick with the immersion and the close to realism in a western flick. (Close to, not fully on realistic. I dont want a fully realistic western movie, because I want OP gunslingers. That's basically how westerns work) But, when it goes too far, it's bad. So, I'm giving it a 7/10 in all honesty endings have so much to say that I could be going for a 6 even. But, I wont. I'm being generous because it's honestly such a good show. They just rumped it up at the ending. Catastrophically.
