After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.

It start a little bit slow but then it got really interesting. I really hate that there is no second season. I was waiting to see what is going to happened after the last episode and now I can't believe they canceled a great TV show.Whats wrong with you people? If prison break is back again then feed the beast needs a second season.

I cannot believe this series was canceled after one season.I found it captured my interested from the very first moment. It was unique.Upon reading the description of the show I initially thought...oh no, a high-end restaurant, mob ties, a single parent, alcoholism and David Schwimmer in a serious role...this is not going anywhere. I watched 1 episode and it just grabbed me. Everything was presented in a manner far from the way I thought it would be. It did not compare to anything else I had viewed previously and that means a lot when looking for something unique. I had not seen David Schwimmer in a serious role and he did well as did all the other actors.Surely this series did not have enough exposure...that is the only reason I can think of for AMC stating 'the show simply didn't achieve the results needed to move forward with a second season'.I am extremely disappointed and will miss the series even if it lived for only 1 season.

I watched the first episode, didn't care for it. Watched the 2nd episode, thinking that it might get better. Nope. I've now watched 5 episodes and I officially give up.I just don't like or care about any of these characters. Who are we supposed to be rooting for? Annoying, selfish, druggie Dion? Blah, easily-manipulated Tommy? Twit, Pilar, who lies her way into a job that she's unqualified for (just so she can be near an unappealing man who she sees weekly at her grief group anyway)? The stereotype mob guy? The woman who is apparently smart enough to be a lawyer yet dumb enough to have unprotected sex with a convicted felon/drug-addict? Even if she were on the pill, wouldn't she have insisted that the guy who was just being released from PRISON (you know, that place full of unsavory characters that is a hot-bed of male-on-male rape and HIV?!) wear a condom?!Can someone PLEASE explain to me why cute, young Pilar (played by 26 year-old Lorenza Izzo) would be practically throwing herself at not very good-looking, not very interesting, sad-sack Tommy (played by 49, FORTY-FREAKING-NINE, year-old David Schwimmer)?!! I mean, I personally have never aggressively pursued a bland, unattractive man who was old enough to be my father nor, to the best of my knowledge, have any of my female friends or relatives. Perhaps the male writers and director of this show should pay attention to the way real women think and act instead of just indulging in their middle-aged male fantasies. I just can't waste anymore time on this show.

"AMC'S" new series "Feed the Beast" is an entertaining take and spin on getting by the best way you can even if it means illegal means! The drama is a spin and drama take that intersects with the mob and deals with money under the table being the themes that run the show. Anyway Dion(Jim Sturgess)has just got out of prison and he's still in debt with the mob so he decides to open up a restaurant with his old high school buddy Tommy(some well deserved work for David Schwimmer)and Tommy has some problems on the side he's a single dad with a mute son and he's in a power struggle with his rich dad who also puts a hand into the operation of the restaurant. And this series for cable true may not be "The Sopranos" still it's got plenty of blood and violence and action to keep it interesting. Overall check it out this series is a good vice spin on morality, money, and getting the job done anyway you can and by any means necessary so feed your viewing pleasure and watch "Feed the Beast".
