    The Worst Film Ever

This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

This series will satisfy fans of BBC style shows where each season delivers a separate and compete thought (anthology). I know this to be a deterrent for some viewers. I personally love this style of television. It does not cater to the shock scares or gore for the most part. Great production value for the SYFY network and acting is above par for their norm! As a die hard horror fan, I STRONGLY recommend!

Okay, i'm gonna make this short, first because my English could be better and second cause I don't wanna waste any more of my time on this. I have watched the first season, and I was shocked. I am a big horror fan, but this was just awful. Just from bad actors to a poorly written manuscript. What is up with the tooth monster and a mother who sacrifices her own son? The main character, Mike what is up with him? He never says a full sentence that make sense, he just looks at the other characters, says one or two words. The camera is always shooting at Mike, even if his mother or wife for example is speaking. It seems like those who made the episodes do not know their technical skill. Do yourself a favor, don't watch it.

SyFy channel cheap. We have someone walking around wearing an obvious fabric costume with supposedly teeth covering it (It's no tooth fairy!) except improbably all the teeth have the same color, size, and mostly the same shape (no molars visible - very picky tooth collector). We have the usual hanging plastic sheets colored to represent skin (a real stretch). Then there's the tiresome writer's non-imaginative old hook of children possessed by TV screens which show static to adults, but an evil puppet program to the soon to be nasty little buggers. Also used before, our kids enter into the TV through the screen for whatever reason. What's a horror show without cheap masks - yep, kids hav'em. Oh, if this hasn't been done a thousand times - it all takes place in a small town where unexplained, unsolved murders happened long ago. Guess what's missing from the victims - some teeth. Nothing original; cheap props & sets; no acting; viewing time spent mostly watching kids watching cheaply made puppets do the same thing over and over.

-watched till Episode 4- Do you remember those creepy episodes of Courage the Cowardly Dog and even some of those Tom & Jerry episodes? Candy Cove is no where close to being even remotely spooky. It looks and sounds like some children's school Pirate themed project filmed in class. The dialog is not menacing. The figures are not disturbing. The lack of content to fill 6 episodes really show whenever you get scenes which shows a protagonist just walking through a building for 3 minutes with no atmosphere and simple camera pans, it gets really tedious to watch. Repeat that with 20 seconds here of people just sitting around and 20 seconds of lingering shots every scene change, this becomes unwatchable. It is also plagued by clichés of characters unwilling to talk and discuss with each other, thus wasting episodes with no progress, filled with conversations so devoid of content that a 5 minutes long palaver can be edited to 1 minute or less. And being billed as horror, the creatures look identical to grade school home made Halloween costumes. How is that suppose to create tension? All in all, the producers should really had made this into hour long stand-alone episodes, like a true horror anthology. Unbelievable that this had been picked up for 4 seasons. Guess SyFy is really desperate to fill up the time slots.
