Crappy film

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

"Armageddon 2000" has a lot of the hallmarks of WWF's "Attitude Era": lots of talk, politically incorrect content, bumps, brawling, gimmicks and carnage - and minimal wrestling. In the first match, Lita puts in a good effort when she's left all alone in the ring against Dean Malenko after the Hardy Boyz have been eliminated. It's easy to forget William Regal vs. Hardcore Holly ever happened. Chyna vs. Val Venis lacks the spark of an intergender match. Kane vs. Chris Jericho in a Last Man Standing match is sleep-inducing until the end. The four-corners Tag Team match is just plain confusing (though the Dudley Boyz are entertaining). Benoit vs. Billy Gunn has the most wrestling of the night. The women's triple-threat lasts 2 minutes!! And the main event, the six-man Hell In A Cell WWF Championship match, is a mess, but the way they tease and prepare the big fall off the top of the cell is effective indeed. **1/2 out of 4.

Yes, the world wrestling federation intended 4 "the End" from the doors to be the soundtrack but as the show kicked off you could here swet home alabama in the background. this was the seecond of 3 hell in a cells i've seen Kotr'98 (short but cool) & WM XV but this my absolute favorite because there's action happening everywhere when i saw recaps on recap shows it look likerikishi sat down through the cell. I thought rikishi would be gone for a long time but he was at the rumble the next month. y2j vs. kane said y2j was ready to b a player for the championship. 2 1/2 years later they await word from ralphus so they can officialy restart his wcw career. Chyna/val venis+dud elimination match taught us the value of bendability awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... triple threat short & sucked. tag bout coo euro match sad.

They really made up from the last few shows that didn't do as good as expected. Armageddon was a brilliant show for the end of 2000. The Hell in a Cell was the high light for that event. That event had some great matches. I rate it 10/10

Armageddon 2000 is a good show with an excellent main-event: the Hell in a Cell match for the WWF Championship. This PPV contains 8 matches:1. Kane vs. Chris Jericho in a Last Man Standing Match is a good f fight that greatly uses the talents of both superstars.2. Chyna vs. Val Venis is ok, but nothing special. 3. William Regal vs. Hardcore Holly is a boring fight and I expected a little bit more out of these two good WWF-superstars.4. Ivory vs. Molly Holly vs. Trish Stratus was better than I thought.5. Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn & Eddie Guerrero vs. The Hardy Boyz & Lita was a good yet hardly memorable match. 6. "The One" Billy Gunn vs. Chris Benoit is a standard match but it was fun to watch. 7. Edge & Christian vs. Bull Buchanan & The Goodfather vs. The Dudleyz vs. Road Dogg & K-Kwik could have been better. 8. The Hell in a Cell Match for the WWF-championship. This is definitely the only reason why you should purchase this video. All the best superstars are in it: Kurt Angle, The Rock, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Triple-H and Rikishi. This match was definitely one of the best matches of the year 2000 and also one of the most brutal ones in the history of the WWF.The Hell in a Cell-match therefore saves this PPV because there aren't many great matches in this PPV.
