a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

... View MoreTwenty years after vicious serial killer Karl the Butcher went on a grisly rampage his chip off the old block wacko son Karl Jr. decides to pick up where his deranged dad left off.Writer/director Andreas Schnaas shows considerable signs of improvement as a filmmaker with this much better made sequel: We've got a more coherent, if still pretty slight, narrative, a faster pace, hilariously warped touches of sick humor, competent widescreen cinematography by Steve Aquilina, a hard-thrashing rock theme song, Karl Jr. enjoying a depraved and incestuous relationship with his hideous hag of a mother (Anke Prothmann in grotesque make-up), and funny outtakes at the end. Naturally, Schnaas certainly doesn't skimp on the gloriously ghastly and copious excessive over-the-top splatter and spurting blood: Amongst the disgusting delights to be relished herein are decapitations, one poor fat dude having fishhooks ripped into his testicles (ouch!), throat slashings, a vagina getting stapled shut, eviscerations, and a wild porn theater massacre set piece. Good demented fun.
... View More"Violent Sh!t II" (have to censor because of forbidden words) is contrary to what you may think from the title a German German-language movie from 1992, so this one has its 25th anniversary this year. The writer and director is Andreas Schnaas and maybe if that's the genre you care for and know about you have come across the name before as he is not an unknown at all when it comes to the German underground/gore/splatter genre. I myself am sadly not a fan of this at all and that's why I thought the film was a mess. Luckily, the movie runs only for slightly over 70 minutes, so it was over pretty quickly and this is also the best thing about this one. There are filmmakers who may have the writing talent, but their lack of technical equipment and money keeps them from making a quality movie. I don't believe this description applies to Schnaas at all. The moments when you could see something similar of a plot or story, and there sure weren't many, are just as forgettable as the rest of it. And apparently Schnaas realized it himself as the longer the film goes the more pointless and empty it also becomes. It is basically just a collection of random scenes at some point. We see a woman lying in the bathtub, for the horny guys out there, we see a guy who gets his dick smashes, we see people randomly shooting each other etc. There was absolutely no reason to make a sequel as the first "Violent Sh!t" (censored again) was already horrible, but the worst is actually that it did not even end with this second film and that the series even inspired other filmmakers to make films that are most likely the same kind of garbage. Oh yeah, Schnaas also plays the main character in here, which shows again what a low-budget production this whole thing was. I wish I could say that at least the effects were good if that's where they invested the money, but not at all. Besides, a good script, i.e. quality writing, does not need a big budget and same goes for strong direction. Of course it needs a better camera though than the one Schnaas had here. It's all gone wrong no doubt about it. Stay far far away.
... View MoreThis is the first Violent shit movie I have been able to see and the first thing that hits you is the extreme amateurish nature of it. People I've known have said that 'Bad Taste' was very amateur but you really don't know what amateur is until you've seen this. Although putting that aside you can glean some entertainment value from this if you have a sick sense of humour. Best to skip through the post-title talking because this film doesn't really have or need a plot. Just skip straight to Karl getting on with the killing. The movie was quite dissapointingly short with a very abrupt ending(without a reason to back it up like BWP) If you are looking for gore perversity and bad acting, this is the movie for you and it certainly delivers on the gore. One thing I have to say, ball bursting, OUCH! 3/10
... View MoreBoy, I've seen some really violent and bloody movies in my time, but none quite like this. This may not rank as the goriest movie ever made (even though it is extremely bloody and gruesome), but it definitely qualifies as the most disgusting in this genre. The movie is about a retarded mama's boy who is raised by his perverted mother, thinking that killing people is okay, especially since his father was killed (Violent Shit 1). When he finally becomes old enough and big enough to start a murder rampage, his mother brainwashes him to murder every person who enters their domain (the woods) to avenge daddy's death. In order to satisfy his dear mum, not just sexually, but mentally, he kills his victims in EXTREMELY GRUESOME AND VILE METHODS, some of which I never thought I'd see on film. These killings are so graphic and sick that I can't even mention them here!!! Either way you put it, after viewing this horrific film, I came to the conclusion that director Andreas Schnaas definitely needs psychiatric help because a person has to be "not normal" to think of a sickening movie like this. I definitely don't recommend this movie to the faint of heart, kids, or to people who are upset at the sight of death. This one is just too sick to be funny. UnratedX
