It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.
... View MoreI am only giving this movie a 1 for the great cast, though I can't imagine what any of them were thinking. This movie was horrible
... View MoreThis is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.
... View MoreTrue to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
... View MoreKenny Wayne (Zack Gold) stars in his own hunting show and uses every pun associated with the word "buck" and/or its obscene sound alike. Kenny is hapless as his dad (Jon Lee) is the real hunter, however Kenny talks a "good game" pun intended. Kenny goes up to the Pacific Northwest in order to hunt a legendary buck stalking Honey Valley. He is led by Remmy (Scott C. Brown) a salty outdoors man. The crew has two voices of reason. Cameraman Steve (Cathan Bordyn) snicker snicker, who is a seasoned person as well as Alex (Briana Chicha) their sound person. The hunts include a lot of chicanery as Kenny wants to hide being sub-par. While in the outdoors, things turn for the worse. The film is listed as a horror-comedy and is more comedy than horror. While there were no LOL moments the film maintained its mild quirky humor right through the credits. The cast/characters were likable as pearls of wisdom and insight oozed from the two extras who mouthed the Deliverance theme at apropos times.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Worth a view.
