A Brilliant Conflict

The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

Yes, it's not going to be an Academy award winner but it's fun to watch. Reminds me of the 1990s creature feature films. The killing scenes are pretty cool too. Little to none CGI meaning practical effects are great. Just grab a popcorn, sit back and enjoy the mindless gore. We need a sequel: Oh Mah vs. Predator

The story is about a couple who are recently reunited but their homecoming is cut short when their vehicle is involved in an accident. What follows next is a stalker/predator/prey formula which sticks to typical monster movie tropes. There are some decent kills and the gore is actually pretty good for a low budget film like this. There is enough variety and amount of unique kills to satisfy the gore freaks. This isn't a Fulci level gross but with no C.G effects it is appreciated. The acting is not a high point, the tomahawk variety indians are probably the best with the main stars being average or below. The monster works best (for me anyway) when it is stalking and camouflaged rather then balls out-front and centre. I'm rating his a 6 because it was just above average, maybe with vodka and a mate I'd have given 7. Maybe.

I watched this movie based on some of the reviews posted on this page. Initially it started at decent pace and with decent acting. The cinematography was stunning. About ten minutes in, things start to deteriorate. The obvious clash with the local hunters who you just know you'll see later on, and when you do, the scenes are so poorly structured and the dialogue so bad you actually want cheer for the monster and help IT kill every single member of the cast. The male and female lead have zero chemistry with each other. The male lead (I really couldn't be bothered to look up his name or any of the cast for that matter) is so wooden it's like he was reading his parts off a teleprompter. this movie gets 10/10 for the bucket of monster poo that it is. Oh, and the way the male lead and the sheriff suddenly transition into seasoned warriors towards the end is hysterical. The 'twist' at the end of the movie only serves to punch big monster sized holes in the plot. So, in summary, you'd be better off watching a documentary or 5 about Bigfoot than this garbage.

Good move, without any CGI Hollywood overkill. Didn't understand a Bigfoot and female character.. Did they 'make a baby' or not. I think not, because ending was something unexpected.
