The great Fritz Rasp, in his worst performance, is refused the role of Jesus in their Passion play.Interesting support cast includes the attractive Hoppe (later in ROMANZE in MOLLE), Kampers, Klein Rogge and, more effective, Theo Loos. Awkward in staging, groupings and editing. Zither passages in the score.This one is the work of director Osten, whose Indian films are now having a minor revival.
