Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.

I lived today a terrible experience. Yes folks, a terrible, painful, awful Saturday morning, desperately trying to watch an authentic piece of crap like this film. I read the topic before seeing it, and I expected some sort of french BUNNY LAKE IS MISSING.It was at my own risks...The beginning is rather correct, but after thirty minutes, it becomes slowly unbearable. A real torture for anyone. I tried anything human to fight against this terrible feeling of wasting my time. And I did not make it. I did not succeed in this hopeless struggle. I eventually quit the theatre before the end of this gigantic nonsense. And I swear that I NEVER do this. NEVER. That's probably the first time in two decades.But I am only human, after all.
