If you ever wanted to watch a movie where Bill Goldberg hits Chris Kattan with the same sidekick that ended Bret Hart's career, good news. I have found the movie for you.Yep, the Mason family - including James Caan, Rebecca Gayhart, Fran Drescher and Kattan - are all fighting during Christmas dinner, but Santa arrives in time to kill them all. And that's just the start.Santa is really Satan's son - the son of a virgin birth like Jesus - who used December 25th as the "Day of Slaying" until an angel defeated him in a curling match and he was forced to deliver gifts for 1,000 years. Now, it's 2005 and Santa is ready to get some revenge. This film was directed by David Steiman, who was a production assistant for Brett Ratner. It's a slick looking film, one that ended up way better than I thought it would be.It has some interesting picks as stars, like SCTV's Dave Thomas playing a perverted pastor and Robert Culp playing the hero's grandfather (who ends up being the curling playing angel who defeated Satan's son). Plus, you know, Bill Goldberg as Santa, which gives him the chance to use his "Who's next?" catchphrase after the credits. There are much better Santa as killer movies you can watch this holiday season. And we've covered so many of them over the last few days. But if you want to be a completist - and if you're a wrestling fan and want to see Vince Russo die in a strip club massacre - then go ahead and watch this.

You know some days you don't want to put on a movie taking on more then 2 hours of your life. Or that deals with big questions like "War is Hell" or was that a statement.Sometimes you want a movie for beer and popcorn. I got enough smart movies, movies that have deeper meaning. Not to mention this movie is about holiday fear, or was it cheer.Look I be blunt with you Santa is played by a WWE wrestler.. subtlety ensues. I meant hence not at all this movie knows what it is doing, giving you funny or not so funny one liners, interesting death scenes and more. It has a few deliciously murdered characters like the lecherousness preacher.. oh my delicious. It has the crazy old coot and even a half decent back story.Don't take this movie to serious and just enjoy a Christmas movie that actually is half intelligent. And yet even more entertaining indeed.Come on just give in to the Holiday Fear, erm cheer. You will feel much better once you just let this movie be what it is. And enjoy it with a bowl of popcorn. The story has been told enough times, the level of acting and actors yeah they are more B-movie style. The story is refreshingly B-movie style it all just is a very nice B-movie.Not a BAD movie a B-movie. Compared to Deep Rising I would say Deep Rising is better but not by allot.Look let your expectations go and just enjoy this schlock fest. I say it again Beer and Popcorn and you be fine. Not to mention this will your horrible Christmas's better again.

Santa's Slay is the kind of movie that some might fit under the category "so bad it's good". But the film is not that bad according to me. Just stupid fun.Natural Born Killers Christmas edition? Heard someone say that. Well that it is not. The action is alright done and entertaining for a while but then in gets a bit tiresome, the same stuff over and over. Like one might guess the story is kind of forgettable but still not simply because it's so stupid. It works fine with this so dumb it's funny tone. The acting is fittingly stale and dull but one gets the feeling the crew had fun making the film and probably knew what kind of stuff it was going to be. Bill Goldberg is good as evil Santa though. Of course the characters lack any substance and such, some of the dialogue and attempts at feelings are so cheesy it plain terrible. But even if it's bad it still works to see because they have succeeded quite well with the tone and keeps the film feeling dumb fun and not just dumb. The film is comical but there are not any real jokes instead the fun is built on the tone and acting trying to be serious with the ridiculous plot and over the top violence. Don't mistake this for some horror film cause even if it's violent there is absolutely nothing scary. The film is not that long just 78 min but thats just long enough for a film like this if it were longer the viewers attention would begin to fade.An extremely violent black comedy based on Santa Claus and Christmas, is that going to far? Well it feels somewhat weird seeing Santa in action like this but I would say no. This is the kind of movie you see once with a bunch of friends. Worth seeing ones. Stupid crap movie, but somewhat entertaining. 4/10

this movie was funny.............. for about the length of the opening sequence. After this it is just plotting to put Mr Goldberg in positions to exploit his wrestling maneuver's. God knows that is the only thing he has to offer here as the big lug sure as hell can't act. Not as funny as it should have been. There is no redemption in porn, just satisfaction that sex is very subjective and knowledge u can get laid daily but apart from the hours it's a nasty nasty way to earn money. If God instilled self esteem in us all there would be no need for money. In saying this you are probably a slave to money and need it to get laid therefore an amateur porn star. Santas Slay sucks, avoid.
