Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

I mean 6.7 on IMDb doesn't mean a good movie anymore. Boring, missed a few of the scenes because i was just day dreaming throughout. The acting was average, the plot was not engaging and very predictable. I guess the premise had potential but it was just poorly executed. I guess there are a lot more paid reviewers than I first thought.

I don't recall that I have ever seen a Lithuanian film prior to this. Well, it was jointly produced with the Britain and an English language film. But most of film sets in the Lithuania, so there are many dialogues in the local and other eastern European languages. The cast was brilliant from both the countries, and an awesomely shot film too. The pace was excellent with a simple story, there are no boring parts. It totally surprised me. You know this film got a mixed response, so I was not sure about giving it a try. Anyway, I went on, but now I feel it is worth suggesting others as well. It is a road film, gangster theme as well, especially clash of the two gangs from the two different nations. It all begins when a group of friends decides to rob a criminal gang and leave the country for once. But due to their flight was redirected to Eastern Europe the misadventure begins. It was similar to 'Lost in Thailand'. I had so much fun watching it. Sometimes a film like this does not need a good story, but performances really counts and that's why I liked it. It is not a multiple times watchable film, but for once and twice, the entertainment is guaranteed. There is a possibility for a sequel and I would definitely yes for that.7/10

It was okay... and only just. The plot was interesting enough, acting was adequate and the setting was fine too. There was excessive gratuitous violence which became tedious by the end. Also the violence seemed to somehow slow the pace of the movie down which in turn made it drag and seem longer than it was.I just think the whole thing should have been better than it was; there were parts of the story (eg: the illegal migrants) which could have been developed more but we were simply left wondering. There's only a fine line between "a good way to spend a couple of hours if you haven't got anything else on" and "there's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back"; I'm still wondering which side this one sits on.

Greetings from Lithuania."Redirected" (2014) is a fun crime comedy in style of Guy Richie movies. It has nice acting, good pacing, some bloody but not gory images, and some truly genuine and shocking images of Lithuania itself. Yes, there are a lot of people like this in this country, nevertheless, it just a movie. And on it own, this is a very nicely made crime comedy.Overall, "Redirected" will appeal more to Lithuanians because of some inside jokes about country. For example, there is a short image of two ambulance workers trying to rape a patient. Oddly enough, this one is taken from real case that appeared in this country. This is not brightest side of Lithuania, but sadly it's very true. And the movie itself is fun and expertly crafted. It's nothing very original mindblowingly good, but in Lithuanian movie making term, this one definitely stands out.
