Dreadfully Boring

It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

The movie really just wants to entertain people.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

That would be giving the film too much credit because of how poorly it was executed.

This movie was SO stupid! I agree with another viewer.....he should have (& COULD have!) left WAY earlier! And the ending was completely freaking ridiculous!!! Any other dude (in reality) would have punched Zach and then called the cops to stop the scheming! STUPID.....stupid! Save your time!

First the technical aspects of this film. The acting was very well done. The cinematography and camera use,lighting, editing...all on Hollywood big budget level. The score/sound effects as well. The story , as others have already mentioned, very similar to "The Game" with Michael Douglas (Just happens to be one of my all time favorite thriller movies ever) So, the PREMISE is not new. But I don't hold it against a film. Was there plot holes? Yes. I tend to be analytical and notice things like that, but as I've grown older I have also learned to quiet my brain to suspend belief enough to enjoy what the point is, when it is presented. (I don't nit pik as much)What is NEW, compared to the movie "The Game", is this is a little more personal with less action. A little more in depth with the character facing his pre conceived ideas about himself and the world around him. In my opinion, that's always an interesting process to watch. I was also tickled to see the humor/satire injected into this movie, that "The Game" didn't have. The ending is super. And scared the crap outta me.

Let me just start off by saying REBIRTH is NOT a horror film (Honestly though I think it would've been better if it was a horror film). It's more like a really, really bad joke that a friend tells you, but then you realise that it's not actually a joke and that your friend just told you something that was disturbingly UNfunny. That's what the movie felt like for me. Also, I apologise if my review seems really convoluted or non-sequential, but I honestly cannot think straight after what I have just witnessed (ALSO, this is my first review and I'm petty enough to make an IMDb account JUST to bag out this movie). I tried watching the first 10 minutes or so with an open mind, but I already had suspicions of where the movie was heading towards. I wish I trusted my gut instinct because it just steadily declined from bad to worse... and then to SERIOUSLY WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING~feels. I don't want to spoil the movie for you if you did want to watch the movie, but I just want to say that the main guy's character is so freaking stupid. And I also feel idiotic for watching this movie. Very, very moronic (insert more words that describe stupidity here).
