n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

Okay sit down y'all, because I'm going to tell you a story. The story of the WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN.A few days ago, my friend and I were having a phone conversation like we do most days. We were talking about what movies were out, do we want to go to the theater this weekend, etc., etc. My friend suddenly burst out laughing, like she just remembered something. "What is it?" I asked. Poor, naive me from a few days ago. "You've gotta come over," my friend said between peals of laughter. "My mom got me this movie, and it's the worst movie I've ever seen. You have to see it."Foolishly, I agreed. I went over to her house, we loaded up on ice cream and popcorn, and my friend put in the disc.I would have rather gotten a tooth pulled. I'm pretty sure my eyes started bleeding at some point during this film.Waiting For Forever is what some might call an original story. I would say it's more like several clichés wound into a confusing series of subplots, wrapped up in a headache-inducing patchwork of goofy sweetness and depressing issues that the movie didn't even begin to tackle in the way they deserve. The cherry on top is the honest-to- God murder. We've got the quirky main character who marches to the beat of his own drum. We've got the main character's normal family who is concerned for his well being but just can't get behind his life choices. We've got the workaholic who hasn't seen her family in years because she's focusing on her career. We've got the workaholic's dysfunctional parents who love her. We've got unrequited childhood love. We've got lots and lots of walking and talking (but Before We Go did it better. If you're looking for a heartfelt indie romance, watch Before We Go.).Oh yeah, and the murder. Can't forget about that one.The main character in question, Will, is without a doubt mentally handicapped. That's not even a question. He's dealing with delusion and pain following a traumatic childhood event of which he didn't process his grief properly. He should be getting therapy, not be labeled as "harmless" and "whimsical". My favorite character was Will's brother, because at least he recognized his brother's problems and wanted him to get help. Everybody else in this movie is just an enabler.Rather than seek the help he needs, Will opts to travel around the country, stalking his childhood best friend Emma. He conveniently leaves the stalking part out when he shares his life story to the people he hitchhikes with. He wears blue checkered pajamas with a black vest, a black bowler hat, red converse and a single hoop earring. I wish I was making that up. And I really wish I could have a chat with the wardrobe department. According to Will, pajama pants help his legs move better or something, which he punctuates by rolling around the patio like he's having a seizure.I'd also like to note that he makes his living by juggling. JUGGLING. HOW?!?!?!?! How the heck does someone make a living by JUGGLING??? My eleven year old brother can juggle. If he went out on the street and tried to juggle, I definitely would not give him money.Emma's parents are equally creepy. The worst moment in the entire movie was when Emma's mom basically told Emma's dad that she wished he was dead, after the dad said some pretty hurtful and awful stuff from his spot in the bathtub. It was too horrific to be laughable, but the acting was too bad to be taken seriously. I was left stranded in some borderland of shock and revulsion.Oh yeah, and then there's the subplot where Emma's ex (Warner from Legally Blonde, except he's bald now because of God-only-knows-why) accidentally murders a guy by pushing him into a table. You read that right. Gone are the ridiculous spy movies where characters survive falls off ten story buildings. This guy died because he was pushed into A FREAKING TABLE. A TABLE. I'm getting angry just typing it.The movie ends with Emma and Will ending up together. There's a great message. If your childhood love doesn't like you back, follow her around the country for a few years in your pajamas until she realizes how special you are.

I just can't figure out how some people can embrace this film. First of all, I wasn't demanding an epic love story (really, I wasn't expecting that from this film). When I added this to my watchlist, I already knew that would be a simple movie at all.But it isn't even that. I couldn't see actual personality in Emma - she is like a stone during the entire film: no sympathy, no love, no actual happiness; everything wrapped in only smiles and cynics looks. Tom Sturridge, on the other hand, does a great job grabbing the role, making Will a charming character and the one who makes the movie happen, move forward. This becomes more clear as the film goes on.Will's personality and the soundtrack, which is stunning and worth-listening, saved this film. If you ain't gonna watch this movie, at least give a listen on its soundtrack.I have nothing to say about the rest.

I started watching "Waiting for Forever" and maybe for the first half hour or so I wavered between engaged and disengaged. The content seemed simple and quite frankly was bordering on boring and I wondered "where is this going?' Somehow, though, it had slowly started sucking me in and I became engaged with the actors and the story line. It first grabbed my interest from a psychological standpoint because I started wondering if one of the lead characters was indeed suffering from a mental illness. That intellectual part of me just became dissolved after a short while because the movie began to tug at my heartstrings in an unbelievable way and made me almost weepy. I loved this movie. It caters to the human emotions on a primal level and just engages your heart so easily and swiftly. Simple, innocent, moving. Awesome and Heartwarming. Good job.

I never review but I need to get this out there. This was the most wasted two hours of my life by far. It makes zero sense. I went into it, being a huge indie romance fan, and coming out thinking this movie was a disgrace to the genre. There is not one bit of romance besides the last 30 seconds of the movie. The whole thing is so slow and goes no where. And it was complete and utter nonsense to throw a murder randomly in the middle of it. I mean, subplots are nice sometimes but really? You have to make it relate. That had no place being in a movie like this. The guy was creepy for being such a stalker and honest to god he made it really seem that he had a mental problem. He was a good actor, just a terrible character. And the girl was just an awful actress, I don't even want to talk about that. This was definitely the worst movie I've ever seen. None of it makes any sense. Like I said, there's not romance in it. DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME.
