It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

Given its obvious low budget, this really isn't bad at all. Some of the acting is a little off key, I saw far too many close-ups of very average plastic fangs and I'd have cut this down to at most 90 minutes. Having said all that though, Eileen Daly is most effective as the leading lady and looks great throughout. The fetish inspired costumes are a treat and probably took up most of that meagre budget. The humour doesn't always work and the simple storyline doesn't help keep one's attention, but this is filmed with considerable style and the very big plus is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. It's not a great film or even a particularly good horror flick but it made me smile now and again and had the lovely Eileen, mostly in but now and again partly out of her stunning costumes. It also delights in its gory sessions and almost convinces in its notion of dying of pleasure.

"You know f*** all about vampires" The opening dialog totally describes this movie. The star is trying to tell the audience about vampires, but she should have told this to the writers, director and producer of this film (and everyone else who had anything to do with this movie). Absolutely the worst film I have ever even heard of. It appears to have been shot with a home video camera. The acting is substandard and the plot is totally ridiculous. The only positive feature is the concept of the movie. Avoid at all costs. Do not watch just to see if it is worth it. It is not. this movie is a disgrace to all movies ever made in england, or the known world, for that matter.

The movie Razor Blade Smile has an interesting title as well as leading role. Now most may not like this movie for the plot and acting was a little cheap, but that is the appeal of a movie like Razor Blade Smile. In a way it was suppose to be bad movie. However, if you watch this movie all the way through the end you'll see it is as I said a cheap vampire flick with a little humor. (Also how they manipulated colours in a few scenes is very interesting.) So in conclusion this movie is a type you rent and laugh at with your friends and enjoy it for what it is. For no movie is throughly bad. As Lilith Silver says: "Humans just don't smile enough..."

I truly enjoyed this British stab at the vampire genre. The budget is non existent but the script is well written and the concepts are original. It's probably best no to consider the acting for too long but the film is certainly a cut above the norm...
