Race 2 Trailers

Ranveer Singh (Saif Ali Khan) travels to exotic locales and confronts the Turkish mafia on a mission to avenge the death of his lover Sonia in this action-packed sequel. In the process of seeking her killers, Ranveer crosses Armaan Mallick (John Abraham) and Aleena (Deepika Padukone) -- two of the most feared figures in the Turkish underworld. Meanwhile, Ranveer's loyal friend RD (Anil Kapoor) and his new partner Cherry (Amisha Patel) offer a helping hand in a world where love is cheap and trust is a luxury most agents can't afford.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

Tightly done action sequences, lots of glamour and one liners that cater to the classes and the masses is what makes Race 2 worth a watch. While the ensemble cast has done a super job of making a gripping thriller -- would call it a thriller rather than a suspense-thriller because the suspense is very predictable -- after a long time in Bollywood, the climax and music are the two sore points of the movie. One must then watch Race 2 for Saif, who with his polished dialogue deliveries and smart one-liners, Abraham, who has played a scheming businessman with aplomb and of course for all the three ravishing ladies who also know how to act. First blockbuster of 2013!

I loved Race !! The 1st part was so entertaining plus well written and directed. It kept me hooked till the last scene.Race 2 is a pain to watch!! Easily one of the worst sequels made in Bollywood. While there was style and substance in Race, the sequel is only style. Pity this comes from Abbas-Mustan duo who gave us good action thrillers in past like Khiladi, Bazigaar, Soldier, etc. It seems like the duo have lost form. Their previous outing 'Players' was a complete bore and easily should win hands down the award for the worst remake of a Hollywood film i.e. Italian job.Comin to Race 2. It is a revenge story this time. Fine but somewhere in the middle, I felt that Saif's character was a James Bond. His character plays poker and has 3 aces, excellent archer, so good at fencing that Jacqueline is semi nude at the end of the duel, chases a contract killer across town on feet, performs some unbelievable stunts, steals the Shroud of Turin and saves himself by driving the car from a plane in mid air. Wow..see it to believe it.Except of Saif and John, others put up a horrible show. Even Anil Kapoor is not in form and delivers only one good dialogue abt popping the cherry. There will be a Race 3 for sure. Hope its as good as part 1.

Hearing that this was a blockbuster and a box office hit I had some expectations out of it. Once I started watching the film it was simply getting unwatchable by the moment. I am Okay with Hindi "Masala" films which are made to please a larger audience however this was stretching the limit. Illogical plot, unbelievable characters, weak storyline and mediocre acting are the interest killers. And to top that off we have some really cheap, vulgar and unfunny jokes between Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel. There is no reason to watch this film which also incorporates some scenes heavily borrowed from Hollywood counterparts. I am still figuring out how come this film managed to get into the "100 crore" club whilst good films out there struggle to make a decent moola. Lastly, when the titles roll in the beginning it says that Ameesha Patel has a special appearance. Not sure if they messed it up and actually meant to say Bipasha Basu as Ameesha has some considerable presence throughout the film.
