Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

Having seen just about every version of Peter Pan that came out, I wasn't quite ready to see a reimagining of the story...While there is a certain evil to Jackman's version of Hook, the feel came across as more pompous than usual, using overdone stunts and action as the story, rather than letting the story unfold...Never Never Land is full of huge crystals in this version, rather than the outdoorsy jungle environment, which to me made the movie less appealing. frankly, it was more like a Peter Pan in space kind of feel. All in all, I just didn't feel entertained, with all the action replacing a solid fantasy story...

one of films who you must critic. in dramatic terms. the story, the acting, the not accuracy to the original series, the innovation, the interference of technology, the errors and the absence of profound senses. but... it is only a spectacular visual show. so seductive and naive and nice than it is not the inspired choice to not enjoy about it. the story, yes, is far to be convincing. but Levi Miller is a not bad choice for the role of Peter and his eyes are good opportunity to remind the roles of a younger Leonardo Di Caprio. Rooney Mara did a seductive Tiger Lili and this fact is a reasonable answer to the critics of film. and Hugh Jackman is ... Hugh Jackman in a interesting/useful role for ignore the great heroes from his filmography. colors, fights and the spirit of childhood. far to be a great film, it is an useful one. for a comfortable story for the entire family. and this could be a real virtue.

There aren't enough words to describe how awful this movie truly is to watch. The acting (with the exception of Hugh Jackman) is pretty terrible. The storyline is creative but lacked vision. The special effects jump back and forth between amazing and 'we ran out of money'. Overall though, its just plain cheesy. A small child might find this movie amusing, however, anyone else would turn it off after about 20 to 30 minutes.

If you actually go and google Peter Pan, there are all these pictures of a boy with a fancy hat FLYING around. This is how everyone sees him, this is how everyone pictures him. However in this film, despite the fact that the audience knows and accepts that Peter Pan has the power to fly.... he is now allowed to, because the directors decided so.So the movie spends countless hours rotating, twisting and boring the story with clichés just to reach the final conclusion that Peter Pan indeed does fly.Overall the SFX and EFX are really good but story line really 1/10.
