The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

I know what budget constraints these guys had in doing this film, and to see the end product, Ace Cruz and Pauly D really pulled it off.Who doesn't want $100 mil to put a movie together- but when you are a film maker with a script, and a passion to tell the world about your message, you do what you can do with the resources that you have.I don't know how they were able to get Michael Madsen and the other well known names with the budget that they had, but they did it and their parts played out well. The scenes were varied and vibrant- it was neat for me to see the mountains and they played right into the story line. The message I got from the movie was that it's OK to let go of one's fear and anger, and I witnessed the transformation of several characters along the way.Neat movie, great actors, beautiful backdrop, and a nostalgic ode to Rabun County, Georgia. Good job guys !!!

After reading some good reviews regarding this movie I rushed to buy a DVD and found to myself that this is indeed an awesome one for an independent film. I never expected this movie to be this great! The cast even made this movie to be full of amazing actions that will make you feel the thrill. As I sit down and watch this movie, I think of the next thing to happen and the good thing is that it is hard to determine on what to happen next. The story makes me enjoy as well as be curious as the characters keep on running away from to save their lives. I see this movie as one of the expensive ones rather than an independent film. The sound makes the action to be more thrilling that all that you can do is to enjoy. I have see a lot of independent movies and this is one of my favorite now. The story makes you enjoy and learn more about spiritual aspects. Some movie producers should do sensible movies like the Outrage.

I can't say this film is a perfect film, but what film is? It had some aspect of Deliverance. Especially having the original Banjo boy in the film. Michael Berryman playing opposite of what he usually plays was a surprise. I always thought of him as a bad villain, like the character he played in "Hills have Eyes". At first I thought he was a bad character in the film, but it turns out the opposite. So there was a lot of twist in turns to the story which made it exciting to watch. When I saw it again. I understood more about the message of the movie. About letting go of anger. Anger is not easy to do, but a goal to try to attain. Seeing Natasha Lyonne was in interesting surprise. Last time a saw her was in American Pie. She gained some weight. The acting was good and camera work was good for a low budget movie. I read this film was done for 200k, so congrats for the filmmakers that was able to make this happen. This was the first horror/thriller film I have seen that had a feel good ending. I liked that. It is worth watching.

I was at the screening in Atlanta, Ga., and the movie not only made me think, but the spirituality aspect of the movie, is what drew me in. The message was tremendous! I was on the edge of my seat.Yes, Billy (played by Pauly D) was quite funny in some parts, which I feel was a nice contrast to the very serious goings on, that were necessary to get the point across. In addition to his comedic talent, I feel Pauly D deserves accolades for his true and spot-on portrayal of Billy. Great job! Also, upon overhearing a few people discussing the cost of the film, I was privy to the figure being more like $2.5M. I don't know where the figure $400K came from.As for Ace, Great job acting and directing. Really enjoy your work both on and off the screen.PaulyD: yombtnwthimi
