It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.

I didn't know what to expect from the title,but from the moment you start to watch, you'll know will is going to follow. This movie is filled with horrible tongue in cheek humor that is so funny...because it's so lame...and some of it is downright clever...you heard me. The musical numbers are also very clever and they are also very catchy tunes. I actually looked forward to each one and, as others have said, you will be humming them later. This movie is so bad that is good. It's not a waste of time. Watch it and enjoy it!

Just when you think you've seen every possible "Of the dead" movie along comes this fun little cheesy slice of early 90's goodness.I expected this to be a dumb "Sexploitation" film which by this point were thoroughly dying out but was pleasantly surprised to see a fairly competent comedy.Heavily comically critical of religion, lots of laugh out loud gags and some good ideas this hits more than it misses.Sadly it is shoddily made and the musical portion of this comedy horror is by far it's weakest link. The songs aren't cheesy, they're just straight up bad.Nudist Colony Of The Dead is a fun little comedy feature which made surprise you going in with no expectations.The Good: The regular hilarious religious bible references Some fun slapstick humour The Bad: Cheaply made and it shows Zombies look awfulSongs are pretty bad Things I Learnt From This Movie: There is a passage in the bible about toilet paper How does anyone know that they're in the middle of nowhere? A campy, low budget production with catchy tunes that will have you humming them for days. (Just don't be caught singing "Kill Kill Kill the Zealots" at work.) If you've enjoyed "Dead and Breakfast", you'll have a great time with "Nudist Colony of the Dead". The songs are better and there are more of them. It's truly a musical horror comedy. (Well, we may have to question the horror part - very little blood and guts and no good slashing at all.) Despite the title, don't expect full nudity or even much partial nudity. And there's NO sex. If you're easily offended or a Born Again Christian, don't get this movie. There are no scared cows in Mark Pirro's world and nearly everyone gets zinged at some point. Let there be no doubt, "bible thumpers" are certainly taken to task (and taken apart as one would expect in any horror movie). It is a social commentary. Pirro uses humor and silliness to push his point home. That said, it doesn't take away from the entertainment value of the film.

I saw this on a online video site. I have no clue when this movie was released or any specifics on it, but I do know that I would have never seen this in a theater, and even yet video. Free is free though, so i figured why not. The things that stuck out in this flick, had to be the plot. A nudist group is forced to leave because they are considered immoral by the church and town, so they all kill themselves, ala poison punch. The scene where the old woman is telling the story and keeps going on and on right before the man is trying to drink the punch is pure comedy. Anywhoo, they all vow to haunt their camp and kill blah blah blah..you get the point. A church campgroup, for SINFUL teenagers (ooo aren't they all sinful?) vactions in...the exact same nudist camp a couple years later, they all die, yadda yadda. The musical numbers in this simply add to the corny feel of this. Some of the tunes are actually catchy...in a retarded sort of way. Nothing serious comdeywise...its all one big parody, or maybe its trying to parody other parody, or maybe...actually who cares.Watch this if you have nothing better to do..
