It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

Unlikable VP Bentley (Rick Fox) is in Baton Rogue because...I'm not sure. While he is there a zombie outbreak happens and a SEAL Team is sent in.The film concentrates on two characters: AJ (Damon Lipari) a baby SEAL who doesn't get clubbed and reporter Amanda (Stephanie Honoré).The zombies were fast moving and the incubation period for infection varied from very short to long. The SEAL operation was bogus as they sent SEALs into an area with no information as to what was happening. They jumped into the area when they would have taken their own helicopter with a back up. The film apparently had to be filmed in one day as the day/night scenes happened haphazardly, changing at random like an ED Wood film. There was zero continuity. The zombies were not convincing and the support cast couldn't act.Wait until it's a cheap rental.Guide: F-bomb. No sex or nudity.

I love these low-budget flicks; bad special effects and acting that is all over the map. I would have scored this one higher if it weren't for the pretty obvious shots of people (not in the movie) shopping and driving around in the background. I know it's a horror/sci-fi flick, but those scenes--and there are many--are quite jarring. If you can discount those, then sit back, turn off your brain, and enjoy.

Given its title I came to this flick expecting bad acting and lots of spaghetti sauce. Well I'm happy to say I was wrong. Navy Seals vs Zombies is oddly enough, quite good....This is a B grade production so I'm going to review it on that basis. I'll start by saying this action film offers up reasonably competent performances, convincing military hardware and lots of voracious, if not overly scary, zombies. I had no difficulty watching this flick, its pacing is good, its competently directed and acted. All in all, quite enjoyable, action fare. Certainly worth your time. Seven out of ten from me.

The premise has potential. A zombie film where the protagonists aren't preposterously incompetent. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver.The "elite Navy seals" are out of shape. This is supposed to be the best of the navy seals, but they send in a team with a new member having some issues fitting in, to extract the Vice President. They are uncharacteristically reluctant to shoot rabid attacking zombies, even when ordered to. There are blatant continuity issues. The dialogue was atrocious at points: "There's a suspicious suspect"?! They still make some ridiculous decisions, for example there was the "let's split up and look for clues" style trope. The acting was awful for the most part. Not the worse I've seen though. Audio levels are poor too, at one point the music was louder than the dialogue, making it hard to understand the actors batman impression.Having said this, it's not bad in terms of content for a "low budget film". There are shots of helicopters, jets, cars rolling, some relatively authentic looking sets and locations. I presume the majority of these are stock footage. Apparently one of the actors is someone I might of heard of too. The money would have been better spent on the script, editing, and direction though.Not bed enough to be good. It isn't laughably bad... For the most part. Better content by amateurs on you tube. Don't watch it. Really. Don't watch it.
