Kickboxer: Vengeance Trailers

Eric and Kurt Sloane are the descendants of a well-known Venice, California-based family of martial artists. Kurt has always been in older brother, Eric's shadow, as he lacks the instincts needed to become a champion. Against Kurt's concerns, Eric accepts a paid offer and travels to Thailand to challenge the Muay Thai champion Tong Po and fails with dire consequences. Kurt sets out for revenge. He trains with his brother's mentor, Master Durand, for a Muay Thai fight against the merciless champion, Tong Po. Durand first thinks Kurt is impossible to train, but through a series of spiritual exercises and tests, Durand discovers that Kurt has a deeper strength that will carry him through his final showdown with Tong Po.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

I usually don't complain about action movies that lack a decent plot, but Kickboxer had such a bad script and plot that I found it hard to enjoy this movie. There are just too many flaws and inconsistencies in the plot. Most of the plot elements did not add anything relevant to the story.I found the filming and image very enjoyable to watch. The fight scenes were descent, but nothing extraordinary. Some inconsistencies, but no more than I would expect from this kind of movies.A lot of useless annoying one liner are said throughout the movie and made the movie feel very amateur, despite the image quality. If you're looking for an easy watch, with some decent action, it could be watchable, but I would rather just skip directly to the fight scenes or watch some fights online, because the story is definitely not worth it.Overall, I would avoid wasting my time with this movie. Might have been more enjoyable on mute though.

I started to watch the movie with enthusiasm and great expectations seeing Jean Claude is playing. But as the time passed, I realized that my Saturday will be ruined. I hardly managed to see it until the end. I opened and closed my eyes at the same time at some moments with the scenes and lines worthy of a low budget movie. The rare good moments of this "cartoon" were given by Jean Claude (that why i rated the film with 2). His voice seemed to me doubled on some scenes, and the fight scene with the swords at the end was slow and embarrassing (like my sister and I were fighting in the swords). I'll have to see 3 good movies to get back to my good state.ORMaybe I'm crazy and I'm exaggerating too much by comparing too much with the original "Kickboxer".

Sure the times have changed and improvising is needed. So you have a slightly different movie than the original ? Whats the big deal guys ? You would go watch Hunger games and all other shitty movies but wouldn't like this one because its a little different than the original kickboxer ? The only thing i would say that i didn't like about the movie which doesn't even matter that much is the Elephant were fake but i am glad they were and didn't freak out the animals for a silly movie scene. And for that i would like to Thank the creator of this movie for caring about the animal intentionally or non intentionally. All in all, huge fan of VD and Batista so i enjoyed the movie.

It is not a bad movie in the sense of the whole meaning. But I would have preferred to see a guy like Scott Adkins having the main role. The choreography and the story line are fine but the problem with Alain Moussi is that when fighting Bautista , he doesn't give the will to use full force. Van Damme saves the goods by his fighting scenes with Moussi. The fight scenes between Bautista an Moussi are well choreographed.Watchable and enjoyable but not on par with the original
