Jersey Shore Shark Attack Trailers

Many years ago, hundreds of locals and tourists were massacred by giant man-eating sharks in the infamous 1916 Jersey Shore attacks. But that's just a legend... or is it? It's a holiday weekend on the Jersey Shore and, unbeknownst to anyone, underwater drills have attracted dozens of albino bull sharks to the pier. When a man goes missing, TC (The Complication), Nookie and friends fear the worst and plead with the police chief to close down the beach. It isn't until a famous singer is eaten alive during a performance on the pier that the shark hunt begins. Now, the Preppies must work together with the Guidos in order to save the Jersey Shore and its inhabitants from another vicious slaughter.

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

After a rare species of shark are brought up from the depths due to the renovation undertaken at a small town on the New Jersey Shore, the colorful locals band together with each other to defeat the creatures after the authorities doubt their existence. This one is just so ridiculous and cheesy that it's worth the effort. So much good here comes by parodying the lifestyle portrayed exactly, from the spoofs of the characters from the show and its overall set-up, the mocking of the lifestyle and slang to finally the guest cameos that the utter joy gathered during those scenes provides plenty of laughs, chuckles and outrageous moments that are effective and truly funny. Beyond this, the film gets plenty to like here when it gets to the shark attacks as they're quite brutal and bloodier than expected so though it's still mostly the spreading-bloodstain-on-the-surface variety it does have some more fun stuff throughout with numerous limbs bitten off, dismembered appendages and ripped up bodies featured here which comes from some more big pluses from this one as the action is totally cheesy. That comes from the numerous encounters here, ranging from the typically shorter scenes as the group's encounter with the sharks in the caves, the brief attacks on the boating fisherman and the paddle-boat couple come off nicely while the big action scenes here are all that much more fun. There's a lot of fun to be had from their attacks on the crowded boardwalk and at the beach where there's plenty of fun throughout the scenes while the film's biggest fun-factor is the finale where the sharks attack a massive yacht, grabbing passengers off the ship and leading to a thrilling rescue before the fun of the massive shootout to stop the creatures. The sharks look cheesy and the story is cliché, but that counts more than anything else against the few small problems. While this is quite notable for trying to tie the legendary attack for historical legacy, the fact that it never actually occurred in that location is a minor stumbling block since it's an actual historical date that is rewritten into the film to account for their appearance at that point in time, yet this never really holds this down as it's not important to know this to affect the film. Far more damaging is the sharks themselves, which look cheesy through utterly terrible and atrocious CGI that never looks realistic and the fish-eye-view shots are distracting with the karma symbol flashing up on-screen every time. This is the real problematic area of the film.Rated Unrated/R: Graphic Violence, Graphic Language and Nudity.

This is a movie which is SOOO atrociously bad that I am ashamed to rate it, let alone write a review. Don't even know where to start. The protagonists of the movie are despicable and hateful to watch "perform" in this atrocious movie. I read other reviews and am fully aware of the fact that this movie was made to be intentionally bad. But it's just an insult to sharks and good taste in general. And the "special" effects are to be abhorred. In fact there is nothing good about this movie, he he, except a "spectacular" dancing scene somewhere in the middle. Yeah anyway what am I getting all upset about it. If people enjoy watching it and other people have fun making it, so what. Still a bad movie though.Enjoy.

Joey Fatone gets eaten -- the Fat One gets eaten, nothing funnier than a shark being a critic for a boy band vocalist. I knew there was a joke in there somewhere, well done movie and one of those you have to watch a few times to really get howling with the macabre laughter. They said is Sharks vs. Guidos -- they were right. I missed this one on SciFi channel but damn it is a good movie to get drunk to and laugh your fool head off. I am an Italian and we don't act like this in Chicago, we're a little fatter and have long hair so to speak. But still a Mario though -- the Italian's in this aren't played by Italians for the most part but they had some actual Italians for the newscaster (funny crap right there.)

Despite my general dislike for SyFy movies, I did tune in to Jersey Shore Shark Attack to see how it would parody one of the biggest nadirs of any TV programme of recent times. I wouldn't say Jersey Shore Shark Attack is a great movie, but I find it more watchable and entertaining than the show. There are some saving graces, some decent scenery, the clever Jaws theme queue during Quint's speech, the brief performance of Joey Fatone and his death scene and the more than admirable performance of Jack Scaglia who has always come across as conscientious no matter how bad the film is. However, I can't say much about the rest of the cast. Paul Sorvino doesn't have that much to do and phones in his performance, while Tony Sirico and William Atherton's turns are not bad in performance but all too brief to make a bigger impression. The Jersey Shore cast act in a very exaggerated fashion, and in the case of Vinny Guadagnino and the girl playing Snooki annoyingly so in alternative to hilariously. The sharks don't fare much better either sadly, their designs are some of the phoniest I've seen in any SyFy movie recently and they are not very menacing. They don't seem to move very naturally, I wasn't sure whether it was the fault of the editing, which was choppy, or the sharks themselves, but there seemed to be a lot of jumping around in their later scenes especially. The death scenes have been worse in previous movies definitely, but they're still rather predictable and lacking tension(Fatone's was the best one), and I was disappointed that the annoying characters weren't killed off.Anybody expecting dumb, blatantly silly storytelling and logic being thrown out the window won't be disappointed in Jersey Shore Shark Attack. There are two instances involving the sharks where you do have to suspend disbelief, one where you are told that in order to kill a shark you shoot through its left eye as it's the eye of the devil, and another where you learn that a shark can be killed by being shot through its fin. And then there are sub-plots that are not only not that interesting but make the characters more unlikeable than they already are, such as the slobs vs. snobs subplot. It does deserve credit though that unlike other SyFy movies the pacing doesn't manage to be dull. The characters are deliberate caricatures certainly, but because the performances are so exaggerated and stereotypical I did find it hard to care for them.In regard to the dialogue, that is also very corny that is full of Jersey-ese and supposedly tongue-in-cheek catchphrases, that depending on who you are may make you tear your hair out in irritation. I do agree that the basic tone of the film does feel like a genre movie rather than part of SyFy's output, though there is enough of SyFy's notorious trademarks(ie. the special effects) to remind us that it is actually SyFy. Overall, I didn't find Jersey Shore Shark Attack a great film by any stretch of the imagination, but I did find it entertaining, even if it is often stupid with annoying characters, blatant silliness in both the story and script and cheap effects. 4/10 Bethany Cox
