Not even bad in a good way

A Brilliant Conflict

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

Well, well, well. Very clever. take one unpopular kid with weirdo mates, a bucketful of dreams and a love interest, and you come out with what should have been a very good film. It wasn't the worse film i've ever seen. I enjoyed it in parts. But it's like if you've ever been promised a really brilliant night out by your partner and he then takes you for a drink in your local, a Chinese take away and then, just to add insult to injury, asks you to pay half. Girls, you know what i mean. The point is i was so incredibly disappointed with this movie. It should have been great, something along the lines of nightmare before Christmas or even the corpse bride. It just wasn't. Watch it and decide for yourself. It wasn't the worse. It was just disappointing.

I remember my sister bringing this movie home from the video store for my little nephew to watch. I, knowing that i would have to sit through this movie, groaned thinking it was going to be an annoying quickly for gotten film. I was half right, it was a great film definitely but it was unfortunately somewhat overlooked.It was a great experience the jokes were clever, the story is nice enough, and it's surprisingly dark for a children's film(which made the movie a bit more enjoyable for me) well bottom line this isn't by all means a perfect movie but it has a certain charm to it,it's definitely worth a look-see your kids will like it and it's enough to keep adults entertained.

After watching "Igor" I didn't know what to think. It seemed a little dark to be a children's film and delivery was late. However, after I gave it some thought, I realized I liked the film better than I first thought. This movie, while not brilliant, is actually kind of fun. This is one of the few attempts to make a children's dark comedy, probably because kids wouldn't understand the things played for comedy should never be done in real life. Take Scamper, for example. He is an immortal, who doesn't want to be immortal. So he tries to kill himself various times, but of course he doesn't dies. While funny on screen, it is not funny in real life. Don't get me wrong this movie can actually be funny and even at times clever. However, it lacked magic. There was nothing that made me wish there was more (except for maybe Scamper) and very little heart. Don't get me wrong, this is a good film, but don't expect "Citizen Kane". Expect a cheesy, dark, but sometimes funny animated film that unfortunately doesn't 100% satisfy.

This movie is way better than many animated movies released in 2008,this movie is imaginative ,creative and intelligent but sadly thrown in to the garbage by many critics , sometimes i don't understand why was this movie panned ,while other undeserving movies like bolt was a huge hit which was not at all funny ,had weak plot and i kind of found it to be poorly directed.Igor is a film which is funny has intelligent dialogues and doesn't lose it's track till the end. i would say suggest to people to buy the DVD take a bucket of popcorn ,and enjoy this delightful movie.i give this movie 7\10
