I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.

"I, Robot" is not your average sci-fi flick. It has some deep and rich themes. It is very human in a robot way. I know it sounds weird, but when you watch it, you know what I mean. Will Smith is a very realistic character. Though there are some cliches at times. But those are minor complaints. The visuals are stunning, because of the fact that this was released in 2004. I, Human Being recommend this. It's not flawless, but it's definitely a solid take on robots.

Let me get to it, Will Smith is really good in this movie, I like that he plays a cop who is afraid of robots but at the same time knows that they are useful. Will plays Del Spooner a police detective who stumbles on to a crime that a robot may have murdered a human.I own this on DVD, I first seen this back in 2004 in theaters with a buddy and he and I agreed that this was the best film of that summer.Bridgette Moryahan is also great as Dr. Suzanne Calvin who looks after the robots at USR Robotics Corporation, and is like Will's character but opposite, she trusts robots but not humans.Bruce Greenwood is good as the CEO, head of the corporation who is like the bad guy, his is good at playing bad guys. I haven't seen him in very much with but he is a good actor.Overall, a good action-mystery thriller that shouldn't be missed. I give it a 7/10. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed it and thats all that matters. Some scenes were a little ridiculous. I, Robot provides a fun mystery with a few predictable, but interesting, turns. The mystery aspect is clever enough to keep you guessing without frustrating you to the point of taking you out of the movie. You'll care about it right up until the point you realize that the movie is actually a summer blockbuster and your thinking cap should be put on the backburner while you're bombarded with one action scene after the next. ---From Yidioo

The movie I robot is the Isaac Asimov's book of the same name. The movie is about a policeman against advance technology, where people depend more and more on thecnology and less on themselves. In a near future where robots become a part of daily life in the cities to make easier the process. There are three laws that govern the robots: Law I: A robot may not harm a human or, by inaction, allow a human being to come to harm Law II: A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the first law Law III: A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the first or second lawThis laws may seem contradictory so they can preserve at all costs humanity. But when humanity doesn't want protection, what happens? If I order a robot to kill someone that may or may not harm, they must obey. But according to their laws they can't, because they are not killing machines. So the mere purpose of robots is to reduce to statistics and calculations so they can act, even against their owner. So their rules become null when there is a higher purpose at hand, they act on duty but we don't. https://pensarparaserfeliz.wordpress.com/2017/04/09/i-robot-and- minimalism/
