There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

If you didn't watch this movie then you haven't missed out on much. If you watched the first 10 minutes of it you quickly realize how it's going to end. The main character is far from scary or far from a monster and I wish I would stop seeing Bill Nighy in these kind of movies, Underworld was enough but I do really like him as an actor.

Frankenstein's creature finds himself caught in an all-out, centuries old war between two immortal clans. To be honest i really don't think that I, Frankenstein is really that bad Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski and Miranda Otto were all pretty good for the material that was given to them especially Nighy who pulls again another great villain just like he did with Underworld. Where the film fells short is the small run time and the fact that most of the action sequences are pretty disappointing and short and also the big plan of the bad guy it's what it always is built an army and take over the world but for what it is this modern take on Frankenstein is not as bad as many people made it out to be if it's on Netflix give it a shot you might enjoy it depending on your mood and your taste i'm gonna give it an 6.5/10

Aaron Eckhart gives a competent performance, the film picks up where as The creature is laying his creator to rest. We are thrust into modern day and there are Gargoyles and Demons at war. Bill Nighy leads a group of Demons masquerading as humans. Miranda Otto you'll remember front Lord of the Rings leads the Gargoyles. The film has a unique premise, very slick stylish visual FX and lots of action if you can see it in 3D it's even better. I found it very entertaining, fun and though there are some story and dialogue issues it's easily better than average with a huge budget, a good cast that also includes Jai Courteney from Terminator Genisys, Mahesh Jadu of Marco Polo. If your a fan of Underworld or Resident Evil you should enjoy this the Gargoyle Transformations and Demon deaths are well done and I thought very original. It's never gonna be A 10 buts it's easily a 7 worth seeing great way to pass a rainy day or sleepless night

I, Frankenstein (2014) Starring: Aaron Eckhart, Yvonne Strahovski, Bill Nighy, Jai Courtney, Miranda Otto, Caitilin Stasey, Kevin Grevioux, Aden Young, Deniz Akdeniz, Chris Pang, Socratis Otto, Steve Mouzakis, and Bruce Spence Written By: Stuart Beattie Directed By:Stuart Beattie Review In the battle between good and evil, an immortal holds the key. I don't know what to say about this load of crap, I mean this is literally the worst horror film I have ever seen since all the other bad horror films I've seen. This movie feels like a blatant rip-off of Underworld and possibly legion which is terrible. The film revolves around Frankenstein trying to find out who is(I guess)one night two-hundred years ago he encounters some demons and they are killed by the gargoyles that defend us. He leaves and tries to set out and walk through his life but is still hunted by the demons and he decides to hunt them. The demons plan to reincarnate their souls into body's that don't have souls to produce an army to destroy the gargoyles and mankind but Frankenstein is the key to stopping that. Never again will I see a movie like this I hope cause this is the most bland movie I have ever seen. While I was watching it I didn't feel like I was watching a film but just stuff for an hour and a half. The effects are the worst I have seen all year, the only good thing I can say about this load of garbage is that it has one enjoyable fight but after it's just plain blandness again. I never watched a Frankenstein movie before but since this was my first I just hope the movies are better cause this was a piece of crap. The slow-mo is utilized a couple of times in this movie but not to the point of bitter annoyance thankfully. The movie need to have more fast-paced fighting. I, Frankenstein sucks, it is the worst film I have seen all year. I give this film a half out of five.
