An action-packed slog

This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

More brutal than guardians of galaxy with a good storyline to go with it

This was fun to watch! It easily holds its own with the current popularity of this genre.It even has a Wilhelm Scream included! lol - perfect! And, we also see downtown Moscow blown up...a change from NYC.I don't think that it would be unreasonable to suspect the lowest ratings for this one comes out of Hollywood itself, which has been seriously threatened from all sides; by "indies" productions, and from around the world for the past few years. Entertainment delivered without annoying any personal messages embedded, if you know what I mean.A setup for a sequel, too. Fingers crossed.

This was actually based on a Marvel series of comics call the Soviet Super-Soldiers. Urusa Major the were-bear was in the comics. The other characters in the movie were hybrids of several of the comic character. In order to claim you have seen every Marvel movie, you must see this one.
