... View MoreThis is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
... View MoreA hilarious film ! The three lead actors , Imran Khan, Vir Das , Kunal Roy Kapoor have rendered nearly flawless, crisp performances. Vijay Raaz has played a suave, droll villain - very amusing . The script, direction and editing is on the money. A refreshing & very 'unbollywood' like movie. Wish to see more films like this one from the Indian fim industry. Be warned-foul language in the film.
... View MoreThe story revolves around three roommates, journalist Tashi (Imran Khan), photographer Nitin Berry (Kunaal Roy Kapur) and cartoonist Arup (Vir Das), leading an unkempt and debt-ridden life in a shady apartment in Delhi. Tashi's ditzy fiancée, Sonia (Shenaz Treasurywala), is an air hostess who agrees to deliver a package for Vladimir Dragunsky (Kim Bodnia) to Somayajulu (Vijay Raaz), without realizing its contents or that Somayajulu is a gangster. Sonia asks Tashi to deliver the package. Tashi, in turn, asks Nitin to do so. But Nitin is unable to do so as he is suffering ' Delhi Belly'. Nitin hands Sonia's package to Arup for delivery to Somayajulu, along with a package containing his stool sample for delivery to Nitin's doctor. Arup mixes up the two bags. Somayajulu, furious, tortures Vladimir to find his package.
... View MoreDelhi Belly is one good entertainer for an Indian adult who loves sarcasm & is a slight masochist. The story is nothing new but the plot derived out of it, with amazing screenplay & direction delivers a fine entertainer. The jokes are good & slapstick involved (mostly with Vir Das & KRKapoor) is splendid.Vijay Raaz's is my favorite character out of all. Music is electrifying by Ram Sampath & overall a nicely carved movie is what Delhi Belly is. With every nauseating details taken care of & a fantastic filmmaking aura surrounding it (Aamir Khan), it is a mus watch. A new-age contemporary!Songs are very good with strange lyrics. Although, the language is very foul. Many references are vulgar; visual vulgarity is avoided but not fully filtered. You may not want to watch it with your family or little ones because, Delhi Belly is bold, smart & crazy.BOTTOM LINE: Must-watch for every Indian adult! A smart movie!MESSAGE: Do not get involved in smuggling rackets; live life like every day is last day.Can be watched with a typical Indian family? NOProfanity: Strong | Sex: Strong (Visuals: Mild; Audio: Critical; Implications: Strong) | Nudity: Mediocre | Violence: Strong | Gore: Strong | Vulgarity: Mediocre | Smoking: Mild | Alcohol: Mild | Drugs: No
... View MoreI cant imagine how this movie can be declared good or hilarious as some people did.i would say that these people just love filthiness so they loved this movie. really it is the most disgusting, filthy and awful Hindi movie i have ever seen, it is not funny at allAs if they are tired of the great natural views and beautiful scenes so they decided to picture every filthy and disgusting place they ever came across. lot of scenes was taken in toilets with a lot of farting all over the movie. I don't know why i completed it, i kept saying "it will get better" and i love Imran but no, i finished it with the feeling of throwing up.The worse is that the viewer don't come out with anything useful from the movie, no meaningful idea, nothing not even comedy just an adultery shameful scenes + shitty comedy.one would expect more from an Aamir production and it is the first time for me to give a movie a 1 rating
