It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

Oh how I miss the message boards. This film was made for one reason only...to watch good ol Chuck walk around and kick some people in the chest. That being said, sometimes that is all it takes to make a watchable movie. There are some shallow supporting cast and a love interest that I think I blinked too long while watching and they became a couple. There's also a nice nod to the camaraderie of mid-70s truckers on their CBs. So to wrap up, some fun martial arts from Mr. Norris. I've seen a heck of a lot worse.Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door.

The only thing I remember about this piece of "feces" is a bunch of truckers destroy a town, which isn't so much a town as it is a really, really bad set. And the final fight takes 15 minutes 21 seconds because it's all in slow motion... I think Norris might end up making out with his kid brother at the end. If you're into male-oriented trucker fantasy, look no further. Or if you like really bad movies, which is my case, then you've found yourself a feces-encrusted rusted-out-Chevy-Nova of a film. I'm definitely not into the male-oriented trucker fantasy genre... I'm not! Stop , I'm telling the truth! (soon you will be mine, J.D. Dawes) Cut it out! Stop reading my text so knowingly. (soon Dawes, very soon...) (you've been a bad boy, Dawes...) Honestly, this movie sucked.(soon, Dawes. so soon...)

Chuck Norris became a American Icon when he reached the top of the Martial Arts world. Winning nearly every competition from East to the West coast, his fame proceeded him into films. There he made several low budget movies which led to his most memorable confrontation with the legendary Bruce Lee. In this film called " Breaker, Breaker " Norris plays John Dawes who's younger brother Billy (Michael Augenstein) a trucker has been arrested, jailed, kidnapped and presumed killed, at the whim of corrupt Judge Joshua Trimmings (George Murdock). The small town sheriff works with the judge to waylay Dawes as he enters the town. Throughout the film one can see Norris in action as he takes on the Sheriff and his henchmen and literally dusts' them. Though there is much to be said for the Martial artist, except for his talent, Norris's acting as well as the rest of the cast is stiff, boring and cardboard. The plot is simple as is the entire premise. Still if you're a Norris fan, this is one for you. If not you can do with this film as the title suggest. **

For the truckers out on the open road, "Breaker! Breaker!" is a movie for them. Chuck Norris plays J.D. Dawes, a trucker who goes to a town where his brother gets a moving violation charge against him. However, the town isn't what it seems. There's a judge who happens to be crooked as he can be. His town isn't as peaceful or as friendly it supposed to be. Whenever someone commits a crime in this town, justice isn't what it's supposed to be. So when JD goes into town to find his brother and some answers, he gets more than he bargains for. He gets his van shot, he takes out the law, and when he gets caught, who bails him out? The truckers of course. Following the dreaded "Duel", and the hilarious "Smokey and the Bandit", "Breaker! Breaker!" has action and trucks to see. For me, I love semis. And this is good before seeing "Good Guys Wear Black" where it's all action. Before you can check out this movie, try "White Line Fever"! 2.5 out of 5 stars!
