Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.
... View MoreClose shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
... View MoreMostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
... View MoreIt's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
... View MoreFamily of Cops 2 is not as good as the first cause it is slow going but the cast is excellent and the story and dialogue are top notch. Viewers be warned though this is a TV movie it contains dark subject matter, violence, vulgar language, and some sexually charged scenes as well as dialogue. I wouldn't recommend this film to most viewers cause the story revolves around children, murder, and religion. I can't stress enough how twisted and dark the story line is in Family of Cops 2 and for that reason it is hard to find an audience that would be able to sit through the entire film without being adjatate and appalled by some of the scenes. The only thing viewers need to take away from Family of Cops 2 is Paul Fein's (Charles Bronson) youngest daughter has joined the police academy. Skip this movie unless you can handle the subject matter.
... View MoreBREACH OF FAITH, the second in the FAMILY OF COPS trilogy, is a terrible film. The plot is the same old nonsense about the Russian mafia and it exudes a terrible TV movie atmosphere where everything is played safe and there are no surprises around any of the corners.Even worse, I was watching this for Charles Bronson alone - what other reason is there? - and he's given even less to do than in the first movie. He takes a back seat to the members of his other family, who aren't interesting in the least, and in his few scenes he seems elderly, doddering across the screen, mumbling his barely coherent lines. You feel sorry for him, remembering what once was.Even a briefly rousing climax can't lift what's come before, and BREACH OF FAITH is utterly without merit. I can't say I'm looking forward to the final part of the trilogy...
... View MoreThis is just as good as the 1st, a very solid sequel indeed! with a good story and excellent performances. All the characters are cool, and also very likable, plus Charles Bronson is simply amazing in this!.I taped the 1st Family Of Cops a while back, and enjoyed it, so I decided to tape this one as well, and I must say it's every bit as solid as the 1st, plus the finale is just great. It has a few very powerful moments, and while Bronson might be showing his age just a little bit here, he is every bit as effective as he was during the prime of his career! plus there are plenty of surprising moments throughout. Joe Penny is an improvement over Daniel Baldwin even though he was good as well, and all of the Russain guys were just great, plus Charles Bronson can still fight with the best of him even at his age at that time!, as that is very impressive in my opinion. It surprised me when Jackie decided to join the Police Academy, and I thought what happened to that 12 year old was really sad, plus the ending was good. This is just as good as the 1st, a very solid sequel indeed! with a good story and excellent performances, I highly recommend this one!. The Direction is very good!. David Greene does very good! job here with good camera work, solid angles and keeping the film at a fast pace. The Acting is excellent!. Charles Bronson is amazing as always and is amazing here, he is intense, gives one of his best performances, can still fight with the best of them, was very likable, and was an emotional mess at times, that's what I liked about him so much in the 1st Family Of Cops!, he was amazing. (Bronson Rules!!!!!). Joe Penny is excellent here , and is an improvement over Dainel Baldwin (even though he was good), he was just so intense, and looked like a great leading man, as I felt he had potential for that!. Angela Featherstone is great as Jackie once again, even though she didn't have as much to do. The Russian villains were all great and quite menacing. Barbara Williams is very good as Kate once again I liked her. Sebastian Spence is very good As Eddie once again I quite liked him too. Diane Ladd is solid here in her role and her presence was very appreciated. Rest of the cast do fine. Overall I highly recommend this one!. ***1/2 out of 5
... View MoreI had to look it up....he was 76 when this flick was made. Maybe that explains why it never seems to really get going. Even so, Bronson makes it a 7 and worth watching.
