Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

One of the film's great tricks is that, for a time, you think it will go down a rabbit hole of unrealistic glorification.

This movie is a rip off the movie Big Fat Liar. This is the ugly, spoiled, stupid and badly made little version of the movie Big Fat Liar. They didn't even bother changing names or even lots of the original movie's lines. Oh wait. There is a difference. The cast of Bigger Fatter Liar are all ugly and should NOT be acting. They should probably be radio actors. With all due respect to a lot of good radio actors. But the actors and actresses of Bigger Fatter Liar were not good looking and were way older than they should be. Stinkaroo dudes. Bigger Fatter Liar stinks.

I grew up with the original 2002 box-office hit "Big Fat Liar" and when I found out about this, I thought "Why not give it a shot?" I watched the film online for free and I surprisingly enjoyed it. To me, the acting wasn't really that bad, the characters were pretty awesome (not as awesome as the ones in the original) and the fate of Larry Wolf was awesome as well. That's all I have to say!

I have not seen the 2002 film "Big Fat Liar" but from what I've read on some sites this latest "version" is quite inferior. It seemed to start out in a rather clever and humorous way but as as the movie progressed it all grew very tiresome for me.Ricky Garcia stars as Kevin, a high school student who has built a reputation of constantly lying and manipulating. When he's caught plagiarizing a paper by one of his teachers, he's given an assignment to write a new paper and cleverly comes up with the outline of a new video game called Bigger Fatter Liar. However, by circumstance his idea is stolen by a despicable video game executive (Barry Bostwick). Bostwick really plays the vile character to the hilt. Of course, due to Kevin's previous reputation virtually no one will believe him. Thus, pretty much the remainder of the movie will involve Kevin and his best friend Becca (Jodelle Ferland) flying to San Francisco and wreaking havoc on the executive's life through a series of pranks and revenge tactics. In my opinion, it just all became too repetitive like a "one trick pony" and contrived, and I was glad when it finally concluded.

''Big Fat Liar'' was a fine kids film. sure it was slow & sometime irritating, but it had energy & some appeal & it's hilarious & unexpected to see Paul Giamatti painted blue acting crazy. This film however is another story. The film is basically the same story, except they changed things up a bit for the modern audience...and it f*cking sucks at it.Kevin Shepard (Ricky Garcia) is basically Frankie Muniz from the first movie, who has a difficult relationship with his dad (Paul McGillion). After he gets hit by greedy & idiotic video game Larry Wolf (Barry Bostwick), Larry steals Kevin's idea of a concept for a video game titled Big Fat Liar, so Kevin & his best friend Becca (Jodelle Ferland) to attempt to get back at him for taking his idea. Can you see why this plot can't work. Not only does the plot sound the same, but it fails to be original, leading to a bunch of clichés. Secondly, There are plot holes that will cause people to dismiss this as a sequel. Just like Kindergarten Cop 2, Universal Home Entertainment hired other actors and have the same plot to try to pass it off as a sequel. But that is NOT what a sequel is.A sequel is a narrative, documental, or other work of literature, film, theatre, television, music, or video game that continues the story of, or expands upon, some earlier work. In the common context of a narrative work of fiction, a sequel portrays events set in the same fictional universe as an earlier work, usually chronologically following the events of that work.i know pasting that was a big waste of time, but sequels continue the story of existing media.this film feels more like a remake then a sequel cause aside from changing the characters first name, they steal keep their last names & the did cause the writers are lazy and can't think of another way to continue the story. The acting is also kinda off. First off, Ricky Garcia sounds & acts like he's being sarcastic whenever he's on screen. & Barry Bostwick's performance is so phoned in that he's obviously trying to be the greedy douche boss. The reason why this character's motivation is terrible is cause his position as the head of interactive gaming makes no sense.Who the hell hired that douche who is greedy, yells at his employees & assistant, and is a total phony as well. Becca who's played by Jodelle Ferland is just Amanda Bynes but nothing much really. most of the side character arn't important & rather stupid. & Kevin O'Grady is trying to be Donald Faison but isn't funny.in fact, the film has a bunch of cheep & stupid jokes that make no sense and waste much of the film's time. & trying to recreate jokes from the first movie. Like the famous scene from the first film where Paul Giamatti is blue, Barry Bostwick's face is painted white. & the scene where he get's in a fight with a Hugh Mungus (:3) guy and get's his car towed away, it sorta happens here but with a police officer admitting it's his FIRST day of the job.a scene where Larry makes a inaccurate speech about America sorta sums up the greedy liberals & conservatives. Did Big Fat Liar ever need a sequel? No!with a rehashed plot, weak performances, poor writing, tired clichés, confusing plot holes, unfunny jokes & lazy editing, it's obvious that Universal wanted to try & make people remember Big Fat Liar by what else...Make a follow up 15 years later!this is a weak film that u shouldn't exactly funny and you probably should just rent it, but buying the DVD & figuring out you own it years later, you'll probably forget immediately.Bigger Fatter Liar isn't a terrible movie, but it's a forgettable direct to video feature follow up that really had no reason to exist.so go away, i'm eating a cookie - Duke Wilson
