The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

Well !! after watching this , my opinion is , Not perfect but normal movie , I felt some times of long boring conversations , but in others I felt little humor here and there , so it's a mix of boring and humor, which many people will find it hard to watch !? so I must warn you, If you have nothing very very very important things to do , then watch this just to kill time , nothing else ! .

Home invasion though being a creepy subject was made hilarious after the home alone series. This movie actually explains what happens when a psychopath is left home alone. Not alone in the movie though but levi miller pulled a beauty in this role. Movie keeps you guessing what next is going to happen and often times pulls off the impossible. Levi miller and Olivia dejonge perfectly portray there roles. Especially after watching the movie one would remember the strong headed girl in Olivia dejonge. Movie is filled with clever twists and humour when needed. The best twist would be the post credit scene that burries the whole satisfaction experience delivered in the climax of the film and keeps you guessing only for a sequel to be made. It better be left to one's imagination though. The movie's premise and trailers would definitely misguide you of it being a home alone kind of a movie. But it completely ruins the innocence of the home alone series and brings in the creepiness that is quite depressing and unbelievable after some time. Performances from every actor is flawless and they will go long. Direction is pretty good for the scenes and story development is keenly done. I couldn't point out any flaw in the storyline but in the end they kimd of stressed it way too far to be believable. Watch it you must if you are looking for a cringe horror. Do not look for reviews with spoilers before watching the movie or it will spoil the fun. Must watch.

Better watch Out! is actually the warning to anyone unfortunate enough to place this pathetic excuse for a film into their DVD/Blu-Ray player (True someone has to in this case myself. lol). From the start this film shows that the writer and director have seen a series of films including Black cat, Home Alone, When a Stranger calls and of course Scream. Unfortunately they learnt nothing from these experiences. This leads the film into as others have mentioned the juvenile realm of the many angst ridden teenagers who have had a crush on their babysitter and have an overwhelming need to try and prove themselves to the world. You have the usual drug references seemingly necessary to films in this day and age to satisfy a certain strata of society. The female heroine is along with the rest of the cast poorly fleshed out while still retaining the usual hackneyed characteristics of a babysitter based film. There are no real scares, the plot is apparent from the get go and the cast have been drawn from the lowest end of the drama school dropout list. I have read some reviews that praise the cast and I can only say personally that they were obviously watching a different film with a different cast.It is a shame that these types of film are sold at prices ranging up to £10 a shot as the buyer should be compensated. If any film deserved to be in the sold free with a can of drink category this is one.My advise if to walk quickly away from this title and invest in something from the 70s or early 80s when babysitters were terrorised by a host of strangers from within and without the home!

I had no expectation for this movie, so I didn't even know what I was sitting down to watch. It turned out to be a vamped up "Home Alone" just taken to a whole new level."Better Watch Out" definitely had an interesting concept and idea for the storyline. However, it also had a very unpredictable plot, which was a stone weighing the movie down. But the story as a whole seemed somewhat implausible. There was some good acting from the cast, and it was clear that the people here were enjoying what they had to work with."Better Watch Out" is a movie that you immerse yourself into while watching. I will say that the movie is somewhat similar to the "The Babysitter" movie from 2017.If you enjoy a good, albeit not overly scary, horror movie, then "Better Watch Out" is a fair choice for a single viewing.
