A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

Worse is always possible - that was probably the motto of this film. 8 Years after "On Hostile Ground" they adapted the exact same plot in the Ruhr region in Germany with its Mine tunnels They mixed a little soap-opera and cheap effects and finished a "TV production". My verdict: miserableBetter watch the Original, with the environment of New Orleans and Mardi Grass. At least the human and political relationships are at least credible and not as stiff and silly such as here. Even the film tricks, although rather simple crocheted, are even better than what this cast is offered.
