Your blood may run cold, but you now find yourself pinioned to the story.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Whoever was in charge of the audio is an a hole for bouncing the audio and making it unnecessarily high at times.

I'm not very familiarized with the Batman Arkham video game series, but I certainly liked this movie very much!Something that highlights this this movie from the other animated Batman films is that the story is told from the point of view of the villains in contrary to the others. This made the film more interesting because we get to know them better. The animation was excellent (especially Batman and Harley Quinn) as well as the brilliant score from Robert J Kral. Although this movie was somewhat an animated version of Suicide Squad, Assault on Arkham is a lot more violent and has more sexual content than Suicide Squad, even tough it is animated. Definitely not for very young children, unless they're mature enough to handle it.Overall, definitely worth to watch if you wish to know more about the members of the suicide squad and even if you don't like animated superhero movies, believe me...this one will really surprised you.Thank you for reading! I hope it helped you.

ARKHAM.After watching the abomination which was the live action Suicide Squad, I had to go back and watch this just to get the bad taste out of my mouth. The DCU is dead to me. Until they totally reboot it, I am not going to spend a dime on anything DC or Warner Bros releases. They want to continue giving us garbage when it comes to DC films? Then they'll lose money on all fronts. And I highly encourage any and all true fans of DC to do the same. Stop spending money on anything DC or WARNER Bros related until they give us a reboot. That being said, this is an overall good anime. Considering most new 52 films, comics or whatever have been awful. What the heck happened to DC? Seriously.

With "Suicide Squad" coming out in a few weeks, it's gonna have to be pretty good to beat this. Everyone and their mom is gonna have an opinion on "Suicide Squad", but I'm only gonna really see it for one reason, Joker. The only thing I care about is how Jared Leto plays Joker. I don't care about Will Smith, or Margot Robbie, or anybody else in this movie, just Joker. But I'll get to that when I actually see "Suicide Squad", this on the other hand is great. The action's great, the story's great, the animation's awesome, it has everything except one thing. I don't know if it's just that I have this movie on Blu-ray, but during the first half of the film the audio BLARES during action scenes, even on low settings. I've watched this twice on two different TVs, so it might just be the version I have, but I still found it distracting. Everything else though, is top notch. Also, props to Troy Baker for playing a great Joker, I already adore Troy for everything else I know him from, but he nails Joker in this. So I guess the best way to end this review is to say, if you end up not liking "Suicide Squad", just watch this. That's what I'm gonna do if I don't like it.
