Quiet Muffin

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

As per my Observation.. The movie itself had nothing means we already saw this types of Storyline, Screen Play and genre's. But several things we have to discuss in this movie "characterizations, Voice dubbing for Sonusood and Anushka, Visual effects, BGM and the Flow of the movie". These things made us to talk movie excellent. Nobody knows by the influence which department the movie will go HIT. Here they are succeed by Voice dubbing, Acting and Visual effects. Anyway we want Entertainment that's it, This movie gave us full of Entertainment(Fear also Entertainment). I think "Rahul Nambiar" is done great Job and he is involving in the other departments for this movie.

I watched this movie because it got dubbed into Malayalam and was shown in a TV channel. I don't like watching dubbed version but a few minutes into the movie I was taken back so took the original version(Telugu) and watched it. I wasn't a fan of Anushka before but after watching this she is one of my favorite. She made Jejamma and Arundhathi character look so royal and at the same time respectable. Sonu sood's villain character even was also simply superb except for annoying "ya aye" type of dialogs which was not needed. CG effects team also did a fabulous job in making it look more realistic. Even though there are lots of gimmicks taken from foreign and other movies I felt it also good (scenes like poltergeist effects, demon being slayed, drumming scenes from Chinese movie forgot name, demon on walls etc). Also the scenes where Arundhati dances to kill villain and then wears same dress during the end reminded me of the "manichitrathaazhu" original version of chandramukhi where Shobna did fabulous job. Anushka is simply superb in Saree, she is the ultimate gulti on screen.

First off this is a commendable effort getting in to such a genre. But, in the name of screen play it cramps in so many details, plot sequences, evil deeds etc,. its like 3 sequels in one film. There is no building up of plot or any breather, even if you get one, it will be some family crowd doings some overacting with cheesy dialogues. I am not sure what genre is this film, Is it an all out violent underground zombie violence film? Is it some low grade religion appeasing film? Or is it some family tragedy? Or a Mummy like adventure-horror film?. Not clear at all, all elements are cramped in.Every single thing is verbose, there is always someone commenting what's happening on the screen, if not that its something that happened before will be playing on the screen as a montage, (something graphically violent as usual). So that we dumb audience can connect with something that happened 5 min ago.The violence level is not justified, Where in the world a mainstream film has a scene that the villain stabs through and through, a women and rapes her in a pool of blood?. It is not here and there it is all over, I don't know how desensitized the Telugu audience can be to take this, the assumption that cruelty has to be should shown with so much blood so novice. Eg. take the scores of Hollywood block busters like Mummy or Lord of rings.80s years ago there was no kingdom that told it subjects to kill a person in cold blood in India. Feudal nostalgia at its best.A film to be proud of does not come by amount of CG used, it should be by how well a story is told. This movie does not hit the mark.

Watching Arundhati is a delight. After a long time i have seen a telugu movie which actually blends the CG and Content in right proportion. This is a movie that must not be missed by any one and must be watched in theaters only. It sets new standards of film making and we can expect more films to come out of this genre which is rather rarely touched in Telugu cinema these days. The story of the film is OK. But the screenplay is fantastic. U cannot blink ur eye while watching this film. It has breathtaking screenplay. Acting by Anushka is fantastic. I am at a loss of adjectives for her performance especially in the role of jejemma. She is perfect for both the roles. Sonu sood is Superb. He must thank Mr.P.Ravi Shankar who has given voice to that character. Sayaji Shinde is good. Rest of the cast performed well. One must thank the producer Mr.M.Shyam Prasad Reddy garu who gave us a gem of a movie. His desire for creativity is seen in every frame of the film. He never compromised on anything. I guess no other producer would have dared to spend 13+ crores on a heroine oriented film. Kodi Ramakrishna proves yet again that he is the man for these types of films. Special mention for Rahul Nambiar who is the creative director and Special Effects Supervisor of the film. He has done a great job.
