This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

As others have pointed out this movie has frequent poor acting, poor direction and little originality - in fact it is really just a composite of The Running Man, Hunger Games and Maze Runner, but is unfortunately not a patch on any of them.I have seen many B grade and Indie movies and this was far from the worst - it did have some cool special effects and some of the fight scenes have reasonable martial art combat, but they are far too frequent and seem to be in there due to a lack of any other action. The music score was also quite well done.Baldwin and Glover certainly didn't add anything to the movie except their names to the credits...in fact I found their acting to be worse than the other less known actors. This deserves more than 1 star - but not by much - I give it a 3 because I did watch it to the end

Let me start for saying, what the hell are Alec Baldwin and Danny Glover doing in a movie like this? The acting on this movie is so weak that even both of them are ridiculous in they parts. It could be a good idea for a plot, in the future somewhere in the year 2154 a group of people is ruling the earth after a catastrophe, and they made a game where they put some people in a maze where only one can survive. Good idea, but all the rest is wrong, the maze is stupid, the dialogues sometimes look like children play at school, the acting is uauau what can i say, bad is not enough. After 93 minutes you want to quickly forget the movie, if you love your time on earth please stay away of this movie.

This movie is unbearable bad.Bad acting is cloaked with a story of such stupidity that it is only matched by its complexity. Nearly not bearable and completely useless. No Message, just fragments of mismatching story parts combined with brain dead violence. If - after watching this movie - I'd been asked for a plot, I'd honestly have to say: "Sorry, no clue. But there's dramatic music, minor special effects and some violence"An absolute need not see.Let's hope the don't waste any money for a sequel.

I feel like most reviewers didn't actually understand the film; yes, it feels a bit derivative and clichéd, but that may be intentional, once the twist is revealed. This film is clearly a direct social commentary on current economic and media trends, and the film's close makes it amply evident that the viewer is not merely a viewer but a participant in the whole process, or network, or system, etc. Not the finest acting or sets or effects, and pacing was spotty, but I enjoyed the payoff, if one can call it that. Granted, maybe a lot of build-up for that payoff, but it was entirely necessary given the premise. Sorry if this is vague, but I'm trying to tread the spoiler line while actually commenting on the purpose of the film :) Don't have great expectations, but an intellectually and socially interesting message.
