A Masterpiece!

It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

It has been a long wait ever since the release of single song "Thalli pogathey", ironically, the movie release took a long time.But its worth the wait. A typical GVM start to the movie with mature parents, loving sister and a gorgeous heroine to fall in love for - Manjima MohanA special mention for that fabulous bike song - Showkali, most of the guys would have booked a Royal Enfield as soon as they got out of the movie. Such was the presentation and passion expressed. With romance and song filling the first half, the movie turns into a thriller with some strange situations encompassing a common man.A colorful first half followed by a contrasting dark second half.The thrill element was presented beautifully as you will never know what is going to come next. Unlike usual GVM movies, this movie has got some logical setbacks in the name of "commercial" element. This might give out some mixed reactions. Nonetheless, the movie overall will be a good watch.Verdict: Go for it...

After a long wait ,I was so excited to watch this film in theater. I was so confident GVM would give a real Bang.But all was shattered. First AR.Rahman...This man is a Life saver for any producer or director. He has saved 70% of the movie. Camera and the complete technicians have done their role perfectly. The only problem was the script and execution which obviously the Director plays.When all the movie lovers hated Nadunisi Naigal ...I enjoyed the movie's execution and so many new experiments which was attempted by GVM. I do not want to pull out the reasons why I felt so bad about the movie because each individual has their own interpretation of what the movie is all about. Please do not confuse between reality and fantasy. For a simple example when Manjima and STR sister say that they are gonna start a Duo Script Writer company...I was really shocked and thrilled to hear that...This one thing could have been the back bone of the story ...but GVM did not build it. Never mind...I was disappointed.

I recently watched this movie and was moved.The movie was under production for 3years.It created a huge expectation as director Gautam vasudev has joined hands with Str after the blockbuster vinnai thaandi varuvaaya.The movie is about a common man (his name is a suspense) who gets into action when situation forces him to and the rest is how he manages it.Simbu in the lead role has done a faboulous job.This movie can be easily termed as his recent best.His reactions are priceless.And then Manjima is cute,chubby and has a good future.Gvm has done a great job as a director with his usual romantic touches.And more importantly A.R.Rahman 's music is a great plus for the movie.The first half is a little bit slow with 5 songs but the racy second equals it.Overall its a good movie to watch with family on a weekend

Simbu is at his best form in this movie.I think he can be called Super Star of 21st century in Kollywood.AR Rahman music was super fantastic.the screen dialogue was very good it was totally new dialogues.the movie was combination of Action, Romance and Thrilling it was super awesome and also very exciting.this film is a true comeback for Simbu.I hope this movie will make a blockbuster.everyone in this film was playing their role fantastically.lastly The movie was very entertaining.
