The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.

I was geared up to watch this one too. The poster at the movie theater made it look like a great horror movie and I could not wait to check it out. So maybe my hopes were too high going into it.Basically a woman's husband gets possessed by a ghost and the only one who can save him is a her ex-lover who's love she betrayed and it got him sent to prison were he learned the dark arts. The movie drags on for far too long, but then half way through the movie there is a really cool plot twist that made the movie so worth seeing. The only problem is, the movie does not end there and keeps going messing up the perfect ending. My only guess is that Bollywood needs a certain type of ending like Hollywood does and is willing to screw up what could have been a decent picture in order to get it.The lousy special effects and the god awful acting coming from the main actress could have been forgiven, if they would have ended with the great plot twist. And I here that this is one in a series of films, and that the others are better and scarier, but 1920 London makes me not want to sit through any to give it a try.

Watched This movie today because of my friend insisted too much.Bad Things of movie -> Ghost is great to play hide and seek and funny more then scary. -> One of the worst direction I've ever seen in my life. -> Bad story line -> Very immature movie mistakes, example, when sharman joshi throws wood block to mirror and it cracks but the locket he threw got passed, but how? -> Bad casting -> Actors didn't know what the acting actually is. -> bad CGI effects. -> sharman joshi doesn't look like mewad wale baba, LOL, c'mon he just look like a young man who can do good comedy but not horror. One more funny moment, when a person (baba) want to control evil spirit, the spirit takes him in the mirror and beats the hell out of him and throws back outside of mirror, Its funny and i liked that scene because of that comedy which was actually should be horror.-> Ghost just fly around. Why ghost took sharman's soul at the end but not anyone else? Hell, sharman could offer anyone else's soul to ghost, This is one more stupid mistake.-> How ghost have the locket back if it was threw in the Thames river? is the ghost scuba diver?-> At first ghost took control of the body of veer singh but later on the ghost was fighting with sharman joshi, basically director thinks that we are stupid, and yes that ghost has a body, lol a soul has a body (in mirror world though) then can we can call her a human?Good Things of movie -> Found none.So in the end watch something else like Tom & Jerry at youtube instead of this shitty movie.

This movie is the worst installment of one of the better Bollywood horror franchise 1920.If ambiance sound and pathetic CGI generated crows and Daayan give you spoof than this one will surely scare you.The only scary part of the movie was Meera chopra's performance.I was sacred every time she delivered a dialogue yeah she is that bad.The story is damn slow too even though there is a nice twist before the interval that could have salvaged this movie but that too is thrown out of the window 10 mins into the second half. The only saving grace of the movie is Sharman Joshi as Jai.All in all the movie has nothing that made the previous two installments a success. No good music,no horror, pathetic story and even performances are not good.

This movie represents Indian Film Industry as immature and imperfect. The starting storyline of the movie is not descriptive enough and you ask yourself 'Why should i watch the movie further, if i don't feel connected to the main characters?'My another astonishment - Jai (Sherman Joshi) lives in a worn out hut but wears the latest updated fashion of 21st century! I wanna ask, where in India, the 1920's, did he get his coat dry cleaned? And how did he pay for the dry cleaning service?? (He never took any money from his clients calling it social service)Let's come to the branding. The movie is a mixture of scenes and ideas copied from Hollywood movies such as, 'The Exorcist', 'The exorcism of emily rose', 'The Conjuring', 'The Ring' and maybe more i don't recall all of 'em......which goes bad on the image of Indian Film Industry.....being released in foreign countries like U.S.A etc.The only thing I can remember original to this movie is bad animation. Example, the whole scene with ship to London, turns out to be more close to Cartoon Animation films we've watched as kids on Cartoon Network and all. So, I doubt they've even been to London and actually, shot out the sets on hill stations.Meera Chopra's Acting is monotonous. Every time she gets scared, the intensity of expressions on her face is the same.Expecting box office collections due to the previous image(of 1st part) of '1920 series' is foolery. Deception to public's trust. The final impression this movie had on my mind,'Jab jab bhoot hasaa, tab mai bhi hasaa' i.e. every time the ghost laughed, i laughed as well. :D
