I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

I gave it 2 because the show actually has some descent photography but the rest of the show is a paid for propaganda stunt and so intentionally misleading and aimed at people's emotions that one can only see it as a liberal lie fest. Sure they tackle some serious aspects of modern life but they tackle like little girls on a major rugby international. What possesses people to make this sort of stuff? Very simple answers. 1. Money - typically funded from unknown backrooms for the benefit of maintaining the scare tactics that liberals need to propagate to win in politics. This show is all about making Americans feel guilty and to blame it all on the Americans who are of course not the Democrats but the very evil Republicans. This show is so transparent it made my 14 year old daughter ask me.. Dad? WHY are they never asking opinions from people who disagree with them? Good question me thinks. Listen people - this show is garbage. 2. The second reason is that the climate change industry requires people to feel the fear of catastrophes about to happen so they can stay in existence. The scientific community is seriously split about this stuff and saying that all scientists who disagree must be in the pocket of the evil big business is just stupid. I belong to this scientific community and although my area of interest is not related to climate change many of my colleagues are and to a person they are extremely worried that the debate has been hijacked by liberal politics and those problems that we all agree do exist are not going to get dealt with because although the Democrats make a lot of noise they DO NOTHING just like the fool on the hill has done nothing for 6 years. Wise up people. The democrats and their minders are snake oil salesmen and not interested in anything but power. Good luck with that. Please grow the frack up. So it is a ploy to maintain the fear. Democrats require a scared and emotionally upset electorate to win. Rational thinking is not on their agenda. So please all you very stupid liberals vote for Hillary and then please go down with the sinking ship because that is exactly what Obama has started. Now to finish off I would like to mention that the people doing the presenting are about the worst I have ever seen for a show that says it is a information based hard hitting journalistic one. Yikes people. This is a joke. Not one of these anchor people has anything between their ears and certainly are spinning the lies they are given by their masters (whoever they really are????). It is as rigged as world championship wrestling. Get a grip on reality people and do not watch this garbage.

This program is very good to watch. The most important things for me personal is that it gives me an understanding about what is happening in the world. I would miss out on so many things if it wasn't for vice. They go to places that are not covered by other news stations. They go to places where other news stations refuse to cover the news and they go back to places where they focus on the after effect of certain events. (Iraq, Afghanistan). I see that some people are upset about the quality of some of the news reporters but in my opinion the reporters they have represent the normal household person. Most of the people doing the reporting are giving me a feeling that they care. Yes you can argue that they need to be objective but if I want objective news coverage I'll turn in to CNN. The only thing that they could work on is that they need to make more shows. But the content they provide on the internet takes a lot of time to create to so I understand that they are busy. Also, It is awesome that season one is available on YouTube but it would be awesome if season two follows the same lead. But again I understand that there is a contract with HBO and that VICE is probably limited on what they can put on the internet when broadcasting on HBO. And Vice needs the money to send all these reporters to all the countries so they have to follow the contract. In the end Vice is a network where you want to help out, where you get emotional, angry even. That is what news should do if you ask me. It is good that a station as VICE wants to raise public awareness for common problems. Thank you VICE, Roald van der Tempel, The Netherlands

I'll start with the negative. Yes, there's some room for improvement: there is some bias (but I think understandable in almost all cases), hidden cameras are used which can be low-quality and even when high quality cameras are used they're often not in ideal filming conditions (but both of these are nearly impossible to rectify given the scenarios), also, I would enjoy longer episodes, often the 15 minutes per story just doesn't seem like enough. Eventually I'd like to see this show move up to an hour long slot with 20 minutes per story, but that may be too ambitious for now. However, the positives of this show are simply overwhelming, there's absolutely nothing like this in existence when it comes to investigative journalism. I think it's revolutionary, personally, and hope it raises the bar for other television news outlets, which frankly are unwatchable. The world could be a better place because of the awareness this show brings to Americans, it's extremely ambitious and I have high hopes for its future. For now, after a season and a half (maybe this review is premature though), I feel like the sky is the limit for Vice. It deserves a watch from everyone, regardless of your viewpoint.

I was very much a big fan of this. And I watch a lot of Vice News stuff because of their brave journalists willing to go anywhere. Except that they aren't journalists. They're like stunt doubles who go anywhere and have no idea how to interpret anything or present it to the audience. It's like they signed a contract to risk their lives but not trained in any journalistic ethics or understanding of world events. It's sad because it had a lot of potential. But then it's become all about propaganda. Presenting only ONE side of every issue. They just present the views of the owner: Shane Smith. When he wants to do a propaganda piece he doesn't interview anyone from the opposing side. He won't interview any officials or experts. He's more into interviewing random people "on the ground". He interviews non-experts but people whom he thinks "might be involved" and "on his side."
