The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

There are moments in this movie where the great movie it could've been peek out... They're fleeting, here, but they're worth savoring, and they happen often enough to make it worth your while.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

This was such a wonderful show, a real original. I hope they are able to make a come back. Recently they have updated their website with a whole new look. They recently featured the murder of a young woman by the name of Lacey Gaines. You can see her edited video created by the Official Unsolved Mysteries at http://unsolved.com/videos/145 The site also take tips and there is a contact form to submit your story. They are very professional and helpful. I hope all fans will take the time to visit their new site and feel free to comment and share. This show is unique and needs to go on helping those who believe in truth and justice. Let's help keep the show going by showing our support. Thank you.

I grew up watching Unsolved Mysteries pretty much from the time the show went on the air. It used to freak me out as a kid, but I loved it. I haven't seen it in a long time, but I have in recent years gone back and watched a lot of episodes. Robert Stack was definitely the back-bone of the show, and it is sad to see him gone. For me, there are two sides to Unsolved Mysteries. On one side, you have useful, intriguing, and often scary segments, which include murders, rape, robbery, missing persons, unexplained deaths, old legends, etc. These segments are real, and cover crimes which often nobody else will even look at. Many of the crimes are low-profile, and the show does a great service bringing them into the public eye. It is because of this that so many cases ended up getting solved, thanks to Unsolved Mysteries. Then, there is the other side, which is what I call the "bunk" segments, which cover things such as ghosts, UFO abductions, miracles, big foot, the chupacabra, hauntings, psychics, etc. I don't believe in any of that nonsense, and I wish the show would have taken a less neutral, and a more critical approach when dealing with this woo-woo. I honestly think the people who came forward with those stories either misunderstood what had happened to them, or they just wanted to get on T.V. Remember, people lie, and not just a little.

I have been watching this show for very long time. In 1992 or 1993, Unsolved Mysteries aired the murder case of Huey Long and they proved that Dr.Carl Austin Weiss did not kill Huey Long, but in fact punched the senator in the mouth. In 1994, there was Bigfoot in Oregon which was very interesting, because I believe that some bigfoot sightings are real and some could be a man in an ape suit. The most superior one was the Mothman episode which aired in 2002. I wished they would have had one on the Lusitania, because the second explosion that sunk the Lusitania was never solved! There was also the murder of Chicago gangster Big Jim Colosimo who was shot to death twice, the mysterious murder of Legs Diamond in 1931.

Watching this show on reruns makes me miss the late 80s Primetime. Not all of it was sitcoms, and this show put other reality shows like Cops and AMW on the map. The show flourished thanks to the straightforward delivery of Robert Stack. No other host could narrate re-tellings of missing persons and alien abduction and still hold the viewer captive with intrigue. I still enjoy watching reruns of this show on Lifetime, but it certainly seems odd that even some eighteen years later, there are still some unexplained death/missing person stories that are STILL unresolved. I have often wondered if these cases have just not been updated properly since the show went into syndication. For example, every once in a while an episode will air but without it's appended update report. I would always tune in every week in hopes of some bizarre story sandwiched between a bunch of stories of missing loved ones. My favorite would have to be the episode on the Queen Mary. That whole episode was so spooky even today I get a little creeped out by the reenactment. I still get misty-eyed when I watch the lost love updates. One of the best updates on lost loves would have to be World War II story of Fritz and his mother taking in both American and German soldiers, sharing Christmas dinner in peace. That one always gets to me.I knew the show was starting to decline in ratings when the "special correspondents" had to come on the show to deliver updates that didn't really involve them at all. Not sure where they were trying to go there, perhaps they were trying to be like America's Most Wanted. It sure seemed that way the last few years before the show got canceled. The show was in its prime in the 88-89 season. Great topics, great recreations. RIP Robert Stack, we really miss you.
