Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

I'm not surprised by all the negative reviews. It's one of the most frustrating series I've ever watched, the premise is fantastic, a wonderfully clever plot, but after the first few episodes it seems to lose the plot completely. Series one was pretty decent I thought, watchable, Series two was more of the same, but felt a bit lethargic, Series three was an abomination, and shouldn't have been made, it totally lost the plot. The acting was patchy, it started well, then seemed to go off the boil as it went on. I think had it been a single series, with a definite explanation it would have worked better, the usual criticisms with shows like Lost, Walking Dead etc is they milk them until they kill them, and have no choice but to cancel, sometimes less is more, in this case it would have been.Interesting at the start, a few good bits, but way too many missed opportunities, all I can remember thinking was if I saw that cow once more I'd switch off, however I saw it through to the terrible conclusion. A waste.

Please don't waste your time watching this stupid show. i don't understand how it got 6.7 rating i watched this series season one because the concept of the dome was very interesting and seems promising so i continued watching after watching episodes by episodes i got very irritated this show is very dumbest show ever. poor acting logic less things characters do stupid things. if you want to pass your time you should go and sit in front of a wall and watch it for a hour instead of watching this series. completely nonsense.

I was so excited to watch this. I have first watched Mist and I already had high hopes for this other Stephen King inspired TV series. And I was captivated. Each episode brought the need for more. The pilot has a great story line, and all the special effects, but that is enough to make me wait for more.I was particularly impressed of how well each season story arc is delimited from the others. And how characters enter the scene to develop the series only for a slight change of cast in preparation for the new story arc.At the end, I am glad it has ended after three seasons. Because the first one was so much different from the usual mystery TV series. Than the second season is a good take on the confrontation between gangs: who has the science and who has the superstition. Although it was well done and original, the second season was a noticeable drop in quality from the first season. And the third was madness. Still entertaining. And there were enough thrills to keep me captivated, but the series has clearly migrated from the clean quality of Stephen King to the messy stories of Brian K. Vaughan. I had no idea it's Brian K. Vaughan, but than I started reading his graphic novels and I rediscovered the spirits and the need to eat organic to stay in touch with Mother Nature kind of crap.So maybe just watching the first two seasons would be enough and let the story clean enough, without the so cliché trick ending.Contact me with Questions, Comments or Suggestions ryitfork @ bitmail.ch

Season 1 was excellent television, I give it an 8. What else more could you ask for, it had a great story and interesting characters... I was totally hooked at the end of season 1. Season 2 and 3 they strayed way way of course, trying to wedge characters into the story. It felt like the TV executives made the writers add in new characters because they wanted those actors on the show. Also, I felt like the TV executives were afraid to use the "individuals" responsible for the dome in the novel but instead made it worse by going the way they did. Would have loved to see the novels version on TV. At the very least it would have made season 2 and 3 better if they went the way of the novel. Under the dome is just another example of a show that did well because it aired during a time of the year when there is nothing else on for the people who enjoy this genre. Put this show on in the fall or winter and it's probably not seeing a season 2, definitely not a season 3.
