Wonderful character development!
... View MoreBest movie ever!
... View MoreIt's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
... View MoreThe plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
... View MoreThis anime is unlike any other. It is a unique example of...something. I don't know how to explain Trigun without going into too many spoilers. The main story is that this guy, Vash The Stampede, is a guy with 60 billion double dollars on his head. Everyone says that he is the most dangerous and misery creating bandit on the planet called "Gunsmoke" where the show is set. But Vash is no evil man, all he wants is to live according to the phrase "Love & Peace" and eat donuts all day. But of course since this is a show that got action and comedy in it we know that his lifestyle won't hold for too long. I can also mention that the show looks a lot and feels a lot like it is VERY Western like, and that is kind of what gives the show it's charm. I'm also gonna mention that even though he got a big *beep* revolver, he never wants to kill everyone, which makes him sort of a gunslinging, redcoat wearing Batman.Every character in this show plays their part perfectly and never over- stays their welcome. My favorites on this show though have to be Vash and Wolfwood. They are both excellent in their own right, but the show is even more entertaining when they are in the same general area. The animation is nothing to brag about these days since it is from 1998, not saying that it is bad by any means, oh no. I quite like the old style of animation that Trigun got. The studio that made it, Madhouse, is these days more known for shows like Death Note and Hellsing Ultimate. But they did a great hob with Trigun, the animation flows perfectly. But one of the major things about this show that should be mentioned is the soundtrack...it is *beep* awesome. Tsuneo Imahori did an amazing job with it. He really captured the feeling of the show and every situation in it perfectly, why haven't he gotten any awards for it I wonder? So, Trigun is in short...one of the best shows ever. Both in anime and in general. And when I saw that there was a movie after I was done with the show I was over-joyed. Trigun is awesome and should be watched by anime fans and action/sci-fi/western/comedy/drama fans alike. Hell, it should be watched by EVERYONE!
... View More10 out of 10, if your a male, then you have to love this anime, its a gunslinger action plot told in the future, its funny, suspenseful, and awesome. My only gripe is that.....its toooo short, 23 episodes the story is told in so both an older audience and younger audience can enjoy it.Vash is the hero of this anime, and one of my favorite heroes ever, my other being spawn from the comic book series, thats how great vash stacks up.Its one of my favorite animes, and when you watch it, you will know whyalso, that black cat :3 hes adorable
... View MoreTrigun was the series that got me into Anime. Amazing sense of humour along with intense plot line to the main character's past, which is Vash The Stampede.I hate giving, along with receiving, too much information about storyline's and plot lines because the series or movie itself is supposed to do that for us by also giving us context and an emotional connection.Which is why I'll say that Trigun engages your emotions so well by getting you to love each of the characters and really connect with them.I'll say this; don't expect anything from this series. Don't expect it to be an action, drama, comedy, thriller etc. type of series as it can easily be described as any. This series is easily based on connection with the characters and their morals, beliefs, everything about them and the choices they have to take and have taken. It's a true experience to be had if you just go to watch this series to enjoy it and have no expectation. I love this series and probably has to be my favourite series and I have gotten so many of my morals from TRIGUN also. It's amazingly beautiful and I never grow tired of watching it over and over again.10/10LOVE AND PEACE!
... View MoreAn awesome anime. Well actually, only about half the episodes were what I'd call awesome. Most of the more comedic earlier episodes were good, but not up to the standard of later, more serious episodes. (Some episodes were actually kind of boring, for example 14). the final three DVD volumes, where the series becomes more serious and philosophical, are exceptional. The characters of Vash the Stampede and Nicholas D. Wolfwood are very entertaining, Vash brings the philosophy into the series with his views on killing and if it is ever acceptable, and Wolfwood's character development is interesting and sometimes very moving. The excellent science-fiction storyline and western feel also add to the shows merits. Overall a great series all round. If only the earlier episodes were as interesting and entertaining as the later ones, it would maybe even deserve a higher rating.
