It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

*Spoiler/plot- 1996, Rather mad TV sketch characters comedy series, Tracey Ullman is a sleazy, tough talking New Yorker, an opinionated shop owner, an earthy make-up artist, a gay male flight attendant or what? This hit is all of the above? The answer is 'all of the above'. The series featuring the comedian playing multiple roles with each episode devoted to a specific theme of watching the human condition.*Special Stars- Tracey Ullman *Theme- People are funny and act odd in public.*Based on- Tracey Ullman writing and character comedy from observational situations in the USA .*Trivia/location/goofs- This series was developed out of the cartoon TV show. 'The Simpsons'. It is shot in Los Angeles. This show was nominated for TV's 'Emmy".*Emotion- This film provides us with an comedy experience of the like as Lucille Ball or Carol Burnet at the height of their two careers. It is a unforgettable funny show for anyone. This film was full of great comedic performances that have become 'staples' of Ullman on camera history. Ullman shows us a feel good funny show.

I saw one episode of this and thought it was hilarious!I saw it when DirecTV had a free preview weekend for those movie channels and I thought the show was hilarious! It was the class reunion episode and it was brilliant!Tracey Ullman has talent (and I'm only judging from that one episode that I saw and the clips from some compilation show about it...)I had seen something before with people talking about the show and saying how great it was and it showed clips.Too bad I couldn't have seen some more episodes because it was very funny...If you have HBO and see that this is on then watch it, it's a very funny show!

American comedy series in which British-born Ullman `takes on' a particular subject each episode and parodies it through various characters.Tracey Ullman is, without doubt, a very talented performer. Accomplished actress, singer (with some hit singles to her name), dancer, comedienne, television personality - she can do it all. Assuming countless guises in this show (all convincing and some completely unrecognizable), she proves that if you were casting a film, one only need cast Ullman for ninety percent of the characters. Unfortunately, it's the material which lets her down. Lame jokes, unfunny skits and poor writing sink what could have been a terrific series. Understandably, it's geared for an American audience, with in-jokes and a very American point of view - most of which fell completely flat in front of this Australian. In addition, her likeable characters seem to feature much less than the loud-mouthed, obnoxious ones.Had Tracey enlisted some better writers, the show would've been a winner. Still, she performs admirably given what she's got and the show is tolerable, simply to watch Ullman's ability to portray so many characters believably.

This is one of the funniest shows on TV!! Tracey Ulmann plays a variety of different characters and each week it's given a different theme such a Tracey takes on... fashion, death, age, music, change ...etc... My favourite character is Linda Granger but I love them all. Tracey is amazingly transformed into each character - sometimes you have to check the credits/ Tracey Takes On home page to see if it actually was her - eg. the NYC cab driver. Watch it whenever you get a chance - it's not the type of thing that you love the first time it visits but i becomes the type of thing that you love and pine for the next series!!! Unmissable.
