Very disappointed :(
... View MorePurely Joyful Movie!

... View MoreFun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.
... View MoreAs of July, 2018... I thought that since this show was canceled twice (that I know of), the writers would step up their game. I was wrong! This season has nothing new to offer. NOTHING! Very, very disappointed. How could this happen? This is my opinion take it or leave it. Thank you for reading.
... View MoreWhen this show's skits are good, they're generally really good. However, there's an unfortunate tendency for shows like this to eventually degrade into unfunny territory. You can generally tell when the gross-out jokes start to outnumber the legitimately funny ones. This same issue plagued Aqua Teen Hunger Force as well. Likely it's a result of writers getting too used to each other in an insular environment with few trusted people to check or critique their work.Having said that, Robot Chicken is a fantastic show for people who know and love their pop culture references. Stop-motion is the ideal format and the patience of the animators is very much appreciated.Well worth a look.
... View MoreI love this show so much, I just have to watch it every night! I loved the SpongeBob scene where SpongeBob points out that Mr. Krabs was feeding the animals their own species. He then says nothing disgusting happens to a sponge then gets p*ssed off when they showed an extremely fat man getting scrubbed by a sponge. I also liked where they spoofed the Biggest Loser and renamed it "The Fattest Fat Loser", little elves got attacked by Cookie Monster and stood up against him by feeding him cookies until his belly popped, and they also make the Strawberry Shortcake girls act like they're black, especially their fan made character, B*tch Pudding (Not racist). So this show deserves a rocking 10/10!
... View MoreI've always loved the sketch comedy sub genre because of the creative freedom behind it, you can do whatever you want. Whether it's to parody on something, put a spin on a common cliché or norm, or even just something completely different all together you're allowed to go for broke. This show is both one of my favorite animated shows, TV shows but also my second favorite in the skit comedy subgenere. This is a sketch comedy show that I feel was just made for me because it's one that focuses on the pop culture that we were all familiar with when we were kids to even now; which are basically toys, video games, comics, cartoons, movies and TV show. But also just the simple fact their able to parody on things as well as do certain things that even live action parodies are unable to do. But most of all I think by it's nature it's really a love letter to the pop culture we've all known and love throughout our lives and continues on to this day.The animation effects I think are just great because they utilize stop motion which is now a lost effects practice. Some would consider this old school but that's the way I like it and I feel that adds to the funny and fun atmosphere of the show, but most importantly gives it a retro feel. The toy as well as figure models they use are great because they look real and accurate to the pop culture characters they parody. I even like the prop models they use for background which I think also look great. Cinematography is also great, I can tell they really put a lot of time and effort into making these things possible. It's also a really violent show, there are a lot of gore effects which I think are great, a lot of characters even beloved ones sometimes get killed in creative or messy ways and die. But since their all stop motion figures and these are only skits you don't feel too bad about it, in a way it just adds to the comedy.I really love the voice acting from Seth Green whom is one of my favorite voice actors, and Dan Milano. But I also like the guest voices that come in like Mark Hamell (one of my favorite actors I think is underrated and also one of my favorite voice actors), Nathan Filion, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Chiklis, and the ensemble from the live action "Scooby Doo" films (which I thought were decent) Linda Carlini, Fready Perez Jr, Mathew Lillard, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Frank Welker. All of them really put effort into their acting roles and were all having fun.The skits are just great, it's true not every one of them are hits in my book; but sketch comedy has always been a hit or miss operation so I can't complain. Anyway there are just a lot of memorable skits which I think are creative and in a way tap into the collective fantasies we've all had whenever we watched a TV show or movie. Whether it's a character doing this, in our modern reality, if this character fought this character, just anything that may have crossed you mind.A few of my favorite are "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" just seeing Charlie Brown do something I've been wanting him to do for years made me cheer, I'll give you a hint has to do with Lucy and a football. The traffic jam with all of the bad guys Cobra Comander, Lex Luthor, Skellator, and Mum-Ra in one car, it was both funny and sad because yeah I hate traffic jams myself. However I my favorite sketches were always the ones based on the franchises "Star Wars" and "DC Comics" which is great since I'm a big fan of both and from the amount of them on the show I can tell the creators are big fans of them as well. Runner up is "Scooby Doo" since the ensemble cast I mention has always came back and were involved with a lot of the once creates almost on each season, my favorite one was where they go against Jason Vorhees which is cool since I like the "Friday the 13th" films, the ending of the skit is just comic gold.Well I've said enough, this show is insane fun but also a testament to show pop culture will never die.Rating: 4 stars
