Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

Such a touching series about a father telling his son to behave. I can fully understand why they didn't pick an exotic name like 'Abayomi'.Jake, get here. Jake, don't do that. Jake, listen to me. Jake, you cannot do that.If you want kids and want a reminder of the annoyingness of being a parent, series recommended.

Touch is a story that I won't share to much about lest it ruin your viewing experience (it is streaming on Netflix with a 5 star rating). I just finished watching the series over the last couple weeks and found the story exceptional and was very happy that Season 2 ends with closure. The show could have gone on for seasons more, but the two created were very good. Tying together science, fiction, and a God concept that while a bit outside the box is still an excellent addition to normally shows that focus only on the negative of human behavior instead of Touch with an emphasis on love as a powerful force in the world. While the story involves human monsters, it is love that drives the hearts of the special people in the story of which an 11 year old boy thought to be autistic (not) is at the heart. All I can say is if you like science fiction and have Netflix, stream this show and I think you'll both be touched and giving it a strong rating also. While Season 2 left an opening for more story, it was fairly clear that they new in advance there would not be a season 3 and for once you end satisfied. Nice to watch a show with hope.

I expected more from this show. The pilot was very good and I thought I would be hooked on this show but after that I was very disappointed as each episode got worse and less interesting. I thought Kiefer Sutherland was good.I am not at all surprised or very disappointed that this show was canceled because it was not getting much interest or doing well in the ratings.Still I wish this show had gotten another season because it was a very good idea for what to base a show on, Kiefer Sutherland's character was really cool and interesting and like I said it had a really good start they just lost their way a bit.

This is one of the most amazing TV series I have ever watched. I see that for most it is over their heads. I have a metaphysical background and understand about connections and patterns and how numbers are nothing more than another way of communicating and that many of them have definite meaning. This of course is a fantasy story but the overall premise is a good one. It is very sophisticated, mixed with everyday happenings. I worked with autistic children for ten years and they can do some very quirky things. Most are not mute and some of the things in the story line has to do with their sensory input which is beyond the normal range of things and specific to the story itself. All the actors have done a wonderful job. I would not presume to judge anyone's acting but I have to say Mr. Sutherland has done an award winning job. The boy playing Jake is outstanding. I like the interconnections of people. Those into metaphysics call them puzzle pieces and this show is showing them fitting together. It is very clever and the characters seem very real. I think Fox was remiss to cancel the show. It wasn't highly publicized so I am watching it after the fact and am sorry I didn't know about it sooner. The thing is I wouldn't have been counted as a watcher. They need to find a better way to count audience other than Nielsen. It just isn't accurate. I really don't think this would appeal to younger people and that they might review it or see it as boring or very unreal. It is not meant to be fact but a twisting of things that are based in fact and made entertaining. Having worked around the special needs children I know how cold bureaucracy can be. Loved this show and one of the best I have seen in a long time. Too bad they couldn't reprise the show.
