    The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

    I have absolutely never seen anything like this movie before. You have to see this movie.

    The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

    The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

    Okay. Quick confession: I hated the pilot. I found it cheesy, badly acted and generally full of clichés. I nearly gave up after the second or third episode because it was so bad...But, rather like the town and people of Everwood itself, it slowly got under my skin. The scripts and the acting get more consistent and I found myself warming to the whole cast. They are a little two dimensional at first but are played with warmth and skill by an accomplished cast and slowly they grow into their roles and flesh out a series that has long, satisfying story arcs that are always resolved. The teenagers seem to get equal screen-time as the adults and this adds a layer of richness to the show that bridges a gap that other shows seem to miss. The show has obviously spawned lots of acting talent who have gone onto other things but I think honorable mentions should go to Treat Williams as Dr Brown, Gregory Smith as Dr Browns dishonorable teenage son and Tom Amandes who manages to be both annoying and extremely likable at the same time. I know that it is Doc Hollywood done - AGAIN! (Cars? Anyone?) - but it's done well. With warmth and panache. This is not The Wire - and it has no intent to be - but it is well made, easy going drama that does everything you need it to do. It wraps up rather suddenly - and that is a crying shame because by the third season the show really gets into it's stride - it gets a bit over lit and some of the sets are a bit 'whoa' but the writing gets better.I sometimes despair of the networks. This was a good show that had some serious legs left in it and one wonders if any of the output they replaced it with were as good. I suspect not. Watch it. You won't regret it.

    I was just looking for a TV show to pass some of my time, than one friend of mine suggest EVERWOOD. I watched first two episodes and I did not left till it ended. This show contain no fantasy with long dialog delivery(which is a little annoying ), not much action too. But the way it presents day to day life and the issues a family faces in a sudden situation is quit remarkable. story line is addictive and you just keep wandering, not whats gonna happen but what could have happen. Its like reading a very good novel-Your eyes are full of fatigue, you can't read any more but just one page! I think if you are a drama fan than you should definitely watch this show.

    Everwood its got this feeling to it that totally mixes your emotions up and thats the best part of the show they know how to fit it all together in this perfect little way Because you just want Amy to go and get ephram but it is just so unpredictable and so when something does happen you just have this feeling in you that feels like a world of difference and i like that it makes you feel for the character and love the character. I'm like in love with ephram now. and Amy's beautiful. but its more than them. there is just so much going on its never boring with doctor brown and every thing.Yes it is a little overwhelming and can make you just feel like a part of you is missing when you see the major relationship stuff but we all need that sometimes. it could be a little less Relationship content sometimes because like the whole show is about that with every character but overall its good and my favorite show. But thats just my opinion. Also if you haven't already, go to quotes and read that long paragraph ephram says about "Change" its awesome and will just make u feel everything you've always wanted.

    Well, after having seen some episodes I couldn't help thinking that I had seen most of it already in other TV-series and thus soon dropped it. It simply doesn't work for me! There are too many clichés and too many pathetic phrases in it to be regarded as good as series as Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives, for instance.Furthermore I found the acting not that brilliant and sometimes everything just seemed too exerted. The script lacks word joke although I have the impression that the producers believe it to be good.Nevertheless some might find it quite entertaining and I have to admit that I've seen worse. But according to the quality of other series this one just can't keep up!
