A Major Disappointment
... View MoreAlthough I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
... View MoreThe plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
... View MoreAmazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
... View MoreI admit to having some personal bias with this. It's mostly because I just love the Internet in general and want to know about all the recent popular videos. I don't go to a lot of websites like I used to, so I'm probably missing out on some stuff. I admit that Daniel Tosh does usually deliver when you want the goods for online videos. Now the thing is, he seems to be biased. It's mostly because he's usually just interested in videos that are disgusting or obscene. Of course, I guess a comedian would want to do that. It just seems like it would make more sense if he did harmless videos like cats eating food.I remember when he finally had a cat video which was a cat being breastfed by a human. It seems a bit too easy to not show nicer stuff. Still, he does do a lot of clips that are entertaining in themselves. The variety is usually good. The thing is, he is often very funny. He manages to do commentary on a lot of different things and I'll always give him credit for that. For all the crude stuff he shows, he actually swears less than most comedians. I find that interesting! It's great to acknowledge all the Internet celebrities out there and give their own 15 minutes of fame, however bizarre that may be. I love the fact that he mocks how often Comedy Central loses shows. Come on, "Brickleberry" needs to come there. That really was a bad show. It really is quite impressive he's managed to stay on the year so long. He does in fact have generally fresh material and is always topical. That probably owes to his success.I really do find this show to be unique and even if it's not the best of Comedy Central, it's still pretty innovative and unpredictable. I know he'll never show videos of FunToyzCollector, who's the richest celebrity there. Then again, I'd love to see him mock her. Seriously, how are those things so freaking popular? It's not the most variety, as I watch many cartoon clips, but this is definitely worth looking, if only to show the popularity on the Internet on TV. ***1/2 out of ****.
... View MoreThis is definitely a too-each-his-own type show. During each program, I find myself cringing much more than I should. Sometimes - my toes curl so badly, they cramp inside my shoes. This is a very rude and tacky program, with Tosh as the one saving grace. Let's face it if one of those 'movie star' comedians was running the show it would fail after the first show. I can name a lot of negative things about this show, but for some reason, I find it very funny. Is it over-the-top vulgar? Answer: Really? It's kind of like way over the top. Is it tasteless? Answer: Is ever it not tasteless? Do I have a problem with people who do not like this show? Answer: No. In fact, I probably agree with everything they use as supporting evidence for their spite. The sad thing is I use those same lines as supporting evidence for my liking of the show. Tosh appreciation is strictly a matter of choice. I originally wrote 'taste', but that is something I have been lacking for some time. So if you agree with me – great – if you don't – well .cry me a freaking river loser.
... View MoreWhile the show has many variety of videos which contain acts of cursing and violence that are often unfunny the commentary that he makes for the video is almost always funny. Some of the videos that you might see can be very disturbing to watch or some even so gross you could start gagging if you had a weak stomachDaniel Tosh is a very funny comedian and is usually very inappropriate for almost anyone at any age.I thought that the show was really funny to watch and there was always something interesting to watch or listen to. But if the show itself doesn't satisfy you you can go to his Blog to watch extended and uncensored parts of some of the videos he showed.
... View MoreOK, I get it. Youtube is funny. But let's forget about the whole 'Let's just collect a bunch of successful video's of the internet and dump them into a show to make tons of money for almost no production costs'-thing and focus on the show itself. The host, whatever his name is (I don't want to know a single thing more about this... OK I'll say it, douche-bag, than I have to for this review. See this as a warning to people who, like me, are sensitive to potshots and cheap, dumb humor.Let me put it like this. If you like those Comedy Central Roasts, then this is for you. If like me you find it ridiculous, boring nonsense. Then this isn't for you. Of course the videos are funny. They probably have a team of very enthusiastic internet experiences youths scouring Youtube for whatever they can find. And I admit, I do laugh when I zap by this program on my way for something that won't annoy the crap out of me. But then this host this complete and utter douche turns up to ruin whatever was funny about the video with cheap puns and one-liners..I honestly didn't think TV could sink any lower than Jershey Shore or Honey Boo-boo. But here's a team of people that yank stuff you can find for free (minus the internet bill) online and is taking airtime from something that could be so much more interesting.Shame on whoever thought of this crap. And shame for that douche-bag of a host.. In matching it's internet based 'humor': "Your show is bad! And you should feel bad!".
