How sad is this?

Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

When anyone asks me what's my favourite tv show, my response is always Newsroom. There's something about Aaron Sorkin that has the ability to write some the most engaging story lines and when combined with an amazing cast esp Jeff Daniels, it just made this one of the best pieces of television. It is an absolute shame this show only lasted 3 seasons. Absolutely devastated. PS - Can't believe Jeff Daniels was the other guy in Dumb and Dumber. Brilliant actor.

This show was excellent, would liked to have seen a longer run but watching it on HBO Go, it was worth it.

The Newsroom presents an absolutely idealistic view on journalism and the ever present struggle for integrity and honesty in a corporate sponsorship and politically aligned multimedia conglomerate world. The opening episode with the tirade of truth on why America is no longer the greatest country in the world sets the standard for the entire show and rivals one of the best scenes in TV history - however the rest of the show and seasons falls sadly short of that incredible piece of TV. Having said that it still dares to break ground and waggle its finger at its corporate owners and the masses who hunger and thirst for celebrity scandal over balanced and informed news which effect their lives and will shape the world for their children. Its not The West Wing, but anything Aaron Sorkin produces or writes will always be on the top of my must watch list of TV. Excellent viewing.

This is why a say Aaron Sorkin is one of the best writers on TV. This Shows not only is very entertaining but so damn well written, it will move you on so many ways. also teach or remembers people how to be a better human being. the how will stick on you for long time, I aw it and I am on my second run and still loving it.
