Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

First few episodes of Mentalist is great, it offers new concept of detective show.. but after a while, there are so many flaws in the show that it began excruciating to watch. Most of my beef is with the characters, especially Lisbon and Jane. The "boss" Lisbon should be an experienced detective, so she should have at least basic forensic knowledge, but in the show she doesn't have any knowledge whatsoever. Not only that, the "boss" supposed to manage her subordinates, instead she follows Jane like a dog and allows Jane to break the rules several times to get a confession. Including torture and coerced confession, which is very unrealistic.Patrick Jane starts off as a very interesting character, but later develop into one of the most obnoxious protagonist in tv series. Saying and doing anything he wants without any consequences whatsoever. Even shooting the unarmed Red John in front of 500 people, but still got away with it in the court. Which you will know that it is highly impossible if you study the law even for a little bit. Just because you know that the person is a serial killer then you can kill him in anyway you want. what logic is that?!?I do not recommend watching this show.. It's a waste of time. If you want to watch a detective show with better facts and more realistic, I highly recommend "Sherlock" or "Elementary". Or if you love to watch a protagonist that doesn't play by the rules, I recommend "The Punisher" or "Dexter". All of them are way.. way.. way.. better than Mentalist.

It is a Sherlock-inspired plot but you will find more antics in the character of the main character. Quite addictive though. You will want it on binge watching. The suspense for the series is mainly the antagonist, the arch enemy of the main character. He is the most hated one on the story yet holds the magnet of the story itself.

New watcher to it but I'm flying through the seasons right now up to season 4 already. Disclaimer a huge fan of the show Psych but this is not Psych. Not saying this in a bad way to either show but it does no good comparing the two because they are not really close other then both Shawn and Jane noticing details others overlook I love some of his quick with one liners and zingers he sends to people. His complete disregard for people's feelings after losing loved ones and just saying what every one assumes but too reserved to say it I am enjoying the show and I am going to finish but the problem I have is that it is getting very easy to pick out the murderers during the episode leaving no suspense. Even without seeing the shows you can start to pick out the murderers just by reading who is starring in the episodes. I mean the same bad guys that I've seen in shows as Numb3rs, L & O, and Psych (although the cop killer episode killer was actually a good guy in Psych and Jule's ex b/f from Miami) I mean I understand actors are typecast in the industry but does every guest star that was a bad guy in another series always have to be the bad in this series. But I guess if that is my only complaint it must be a good series. Halfway through season 4 and still going.

I was in plane when I watched THE MENTALIST at the first time. Do I have to tell you it was my perfect time I spend in plane?. Anyway, I wrote the name of series in my notes to watch all episodes later. To be honest, the reason that made me want to watching this series is ROBIN TUNNEY. She stolen my heart ! Really she's the best actor and an incredible woman!. The character was she played is suitable perfectly with her. I love her role and character very much. When they chose Simon baker to take that role, they did the right. He was an amazing with this character. I should say, Robin Tunney & Simon baker were fabulous couple I ever seen. They All were fantastic together. Such a wonderful team! Robin Tunney, Simon Baker, Tim Kang, Owain Yeoman, Amanda Righetti. Well job guys! Before I forget, I wanna tell you that I watched all episodes just in 3 weeks !. I couldn't help myself it was the best and funniest show I ever seen.
