It's entirely possible that sending the audience out feeling lousy was intentional

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

I Love This Show. Arthur Is My Favorite Character. Doug Was A Sweetheart and A Great Husband. I Dislike The Character Carrie. To Me, She Was A Sneaky, Selfish Person Who Constantly Put Her Husband Down About His Weight. And Did Anything Possible To Have Things Her Way Without Even Considering Her Husband. But I Know It's Just A Show. But I Couldn't Help But Notice Myself Calling Her A Bitch While Watching Sometimes. But The Comedy In This Show Was Absolutely Outstanding!!!!! Loved It 💖💗

This show is filled with genuine laugh out loud moments and even the occasional knee slap. My wife says her favorite part of the show is me laughing at it, though I don't know if that's an endorsement, haha. Some jokes do fall flat and can be corny at times, but all in all, it is a great show. It's also kind of a unique sitcom, in that it's about a couple married with no children and both have careers. It kind of stands out to me, since many sitcoms tend to follow more traditional, if not dysfunctional families. It also uses laugh tracks, which I normally don't like much, maybe barring Seinfeld (which also was nontraditional and progressive), but the jokes are timed well and work great. My one criticism is the opening them music. It is god awful and just makes it sound like the most cliché sitcom ever, when it's really pretty hilarious and unique.

Love This show I don't care how many times I see the same re run over and over it still is like a great dose of laughter every time. Carrie & Doug fit perfect on this show to where I feel they are really a couple. I like how Doug & Carrie have their family members play parts on the show with them and usually its more hilarious too. With Doug's brother playing his cousin makes it so adult yet family oriented show too. If I'm down and need a good laugh I find #KingOfQueens Doug never fails and Carrie is so much like me its ridiculous. Yes when I can't find an episode I freak out; and then I wait long enough there will be 3 hours non stop & yes sometimes I watch them all. I have seen some of the episodes 20 times and still laugh. If you need one this show will do it.

it is far to be my favorite. but it is nice series, far by great ambitions but soft and comfortable. it has a all ingredients to be one of series to seduce a large public, it represents that kind of soft comedy who use in inspired manner the ordinaries clichés to create the sensation than the universe of characters is a familiar one.and that detail represents a great virtue. the cast is the best and the situations are pieces from many family's crisis, conflicts and great , happy solutions. the character types are the key - the immature husband, the wise wife, her strange, almost creepy father and the friends . so, a family series. nice, almost lovely.
